Great experience, hard work, education, training, lots of opportunities for advancement, working with other educated people

    Cons

pay was not that great, a lot of competition, up-selling items that aren't really necessary.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Great experience. I loved the ability to learn and move up within the company. I would recommend this job to anyone straight out of college.

    Cons

Long hours. Hot (texas) summers getting in and out of parked cars. A lot pressure to hit our numbers on a daily basis. Some managers only care about making themselves look good and not trying to help promote the company.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the people who want to work hard and move up in the company. Some managers are only out for themselves and it promotes the wrong workplace environment.

    Pros

I liked the fact that they hired students right out of college and granted the opportunity to gain experience

    Cons

Management is really inconsistent that the business can't be run correctly. This company give their employees promises they can't fulfill

    Advice to Management

Weed out the bad employees in upper management

    Pros

Experience in every aspect of running a business

    Cons

Pay is low for the work that you do and the people that you have to put up with. You will average 55 hours a week in the DFW to make $42k

    Advice to Management

If you want employees to stay longer and not have such an abysmal retention rate, pay them fairly and fully staff the branches so MTs are not stuck doing something not in their job description. I also believe that I didn't go to college to work 6 days a week.

    Pros

They will hire anyone. If this is your only option. It is a job. This job will give you the motivation to get serious about your career and find something else.

    Cons

Salary is based on a very long work week. You are expected to be dishonest and ultra-competitive in selling damage waivers to people who do not need it to get your bonus which never materializes.

    Advice to Management

    Clean it up!

    Pros

Learned a lot about how to run an effective business and there is plenty of room to move up in the company as long as you are willing to work for it.
    Incentives were excellent!

    Cons

At the entry level you do work a lot of crazy hours.

    Pros

Learn valuable business skills such as: sales, time management, organization, business operations management, corporate relations, and employee development. Great coworkers.

    Cons

Upper management shows a lot of favoritism especially with promotions, company policies are not always consistent with branch operations and practices, little to no work life balance, basic life necessities are not met due to long work hours and little flexibility from management. Employees are not valued, feels like employees are just "a another number".

    Advice to Management

Show respect and appreciation towards employees and employee retention and morale will increase, hire more employees so work hours can be shortened and employees have time to sleep, eat lunch, go to the doctor, attend family commitments, etc. be consistent on company's policies to avoid brand image discrepancies.
