    Pros

Solid company and financially stable as well. Good name in the industry. Great, energetic people to work with. Excellent training program. Good job for someone out of college looking to learn more about sales, marketing, and management.

    Cons

Path to management can be difficult and very competitive. Long hours and weekends if you work in retail.

    Pros

They hire anyone who can read or write their abc's and has a college degree. Even if it's in basket weaving. If you have already been working there for 20 years, great place to work!

    Cons

Oh god. Where to begin... The worst hours you will ever work. It is labor intense so if you aren't physically ready to stand and move like a chicken with your head cut off, for at least 11 hours a day forget it. You will not have a life, except with your coworkers. And if you don't kiss up to and spend what little off time you have with your managers, you will never get promoted. But on the bright side, they freak out about losing people so you can stay as a bottom feeder forever if you choose! Oh the perks...

    Advice to Management

Stop lying about "opportunities". There are none unless you're an but kisser or cutthroat, in a nearly illegal way. Seriously.

    Cons

Long hours and early starts. gets you ready for the working world but tough when at college.

    Advice to Management

Pick 1 person for the intern to shadow throughout the day

    Pros

You learn a lot about how to work on a team and manage a heavy workload and schedule as well as work with a wide variety of customers. Lots of promotion opportunities.

    Cons

Low pay but not too bad for a first job out of college. Lots of work and long hours with very little time off. Miserable customers, you will have to learn to deal with awful people.

    Advice to Management

Provide more flexibility to employees and higher pay.

    Pros

You meet great people/friends to work with.

    Cons

You are overworked and underpaid. The company uses and abuses it's employees and cycles through them like pawns on a chess board.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your employees and not just the dollar.

    Pros

Sales experience, communication experience, MBA style training.

    Cons

Hours too much, not enough time with family, clean shaven policy.

    Advice to Management

Stop the whole "clean shaven" culture, a well groomed beard/goatee looks just as good.

    Pros

Enterprise will really invest in people who have little experience, but show great potential. When you're hired, they'll bring you to a multiple day training course with other new-hires, where you'll learn about the company, your job, and business in general. When you start, you get a lot of freedom to learn and succeed, but also a lot of support from your branch manager to develop professionally. They only promote form within, so this can be a great place to start a career if it's the right fit.

    Cons

It's a grind. The sales goals for some of the optional protection products are not realistic if you are really letting the customers know what they are getting. Goals are easy to meet if you're willing to be clever and bundle on the sly, but almost impossible if you're not. It can also get stressful when you don't have enough cars for customer flow.

    Advice to Management

Keep providing what you provide for employees educationally and experientially, but take some time to honestly assess the methods that must be used to meet sales goals on the management trainee level.
