Pros
meet goot people and networking
Cons
a lot of pressure to sell insurance and road side assistance and upgrading customers into bigger cars. if your numbers arent good you get written up and warnings
Advice to Senior Management
this isnt an easy job so be prepared to put your personal life aside and to work work work...doing everything from washing cars to running a branch
Pros
Earn a great deal of experience, you control you own career path, work with a lot of great people your own age
Cons
No work life balance, ruin a lot of expensive clothes when washing cars, come in early and leave extremely late
Advice to Senior Management
make a more flexible schedule to create a more work/life balance, promote based on qualfications, not who is "in" the clique
Pros
The company gives you a feel of what it's like to run your own business. You do have the ability to move up pretty quickly if your good at what you do.
Cons
Long work days, staffing issues that are never solved, constant annoyance by upper management, pressures to maintain occupancy levels, easy to burnout
Advice to Senior Management
Senior management has no clue as to what it takes to run a branch in today's world. Let your branches run without constant micromanagement. Lessen the 50-60 hour minimum workload for your staff
Pros
The benefits package is the only positive.
Cons
work Life balance, flexibility, senior management, customers, glorified pyramid scheme.
Advice to Senior Management
don't sit back and let your employees get used and abused by staff & customers. stop bird feeding your employees and let them feel worthy of real compensation.
Pros
1. Easy to get hired.
2. Stress free job.
3. Good people to work with.
Cons
1. You can perform well for years and still not get promoted.
2. The pay is terrible.
3. Friends and family constantly call you to get a discount on car rentals.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay your employees more.
Pros
Good Pay Plan
Good People
Decent Benefits
Good training program
Opportunity to move around and work in different locations
Not a typical office job
Cons
Very busy and scattered at times, if you don't do well with uncertainty or a chaotic work environment than this is definitely not the job for you.
Advice to Senior Management
Too many differences between locations and regions and managers etc. Each location has its own way and something that is right at one location can be wrong at another
Pros
Rapid advancement, good training, solid growth opportunities
Cons
No work life balance, understaffed, 60+ hr work week
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to your employees.
Pros
You work with pretty good and fun people.
Cons
Upper management plays favorites..... Alot of brownnosing is needed to get promoted!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Advice to Senior Management
Revamp your policies
Pros
They hire some of the best people. While at Enterprise, I worked with some of the best teams ever!!! I still to this day keep in contact with a lot a people I worked with. Enterprise as a company does a lot to promote friendly relationships in the workplace.
Cons
NO WORK-LIFE BALANCE. By the time to average out your salary with the number of hours you've worked, you're no making all that much money. Also the time off, sick days, and vacations days are way less than other companies.
Advice to Senior Management
Take the whip off of your workers backs or you find that some of your best talent will burn out before they've had a chance to peek.
Pros
Future employers look favorably at Enterprise on your resume. I did learn how to run a business. No other job will seem hard after ERAC!
Cons
No work life balance. The preaching of "6 years, 6 figures" is BS. Promotions are about politics and popularity, not who is best for the job. You have to drink the kool-aid to make it here. Tunover is awful.
Advice to Senior Management
Actually care about your employees and encourage them to find a balance between work and family instead of work and then the bar with other employees.
