Milford, CT

Former Employee – worked at Environmental Data Resources part-time for more than a year

Prosif you like a party environment, its a good place for you. That is of course you are a guy or a pretty gal who is looking to party like your in college.

ConsNo HR or accountability for managements inappropriateness. Not a ton of room for growth unless you're in the sales department and fall into the "guidelines". Not great salaries, and certainly not much if anything in annual raises. Oh and don't count on your commission checks. Ha

Advice to Senior ManagementGROW UP, stop allowing management to act inappropriately and hold them accountable when they do. Perhaps its time to let go some of the dead weight that is holding back the company.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at Environmental Data Resources full-time

ProsI thought the health benefits were decent for a smaller company
Decent vacation benefits for new hires - 14 days

ConsStagnant company from a growth perspective after significant investment from DMGI the last few years (parent company)
They will move people around every six months just because they can.
Punishes those who are innovative - yet they are pushing for all this growth.
CEO lives across the country in California and is not involved in the day to day operations
EVP of sales has no forward thinking - push the "any key" to generate software while not understanding how things really work which results in a poor customer experience.
Culture of complacency from an IT perspective with years of technical debt and not making much headway to correct it due to lack of technical talent.
The whole company tends to start things and never finish them
Milford Headquarters has no climate control either too warm or too cold
Not enough holidays

Advice to Senior ManagementMost of the senior staff have never worked anywhere else besides EDR. I have seen that theory work for other companies but not here because they tend to repeat their prior mistakes. My advice would be Closely evaluate your staff and clean house starting at the top
