Ok employer, do not expect much beyond your hire date.

    Pros

The company is not bad to work for they just do not care about their consultants beyond the date of hire and the fact that they get their checks. Envision recruiters are nice enough and do a good job of faking interest in your life. Benefits are good and the amount of vacation you start out with is nice.

    Cons

The company is hard to contact and they do not care about your yearly review. There is no negotiation power for new employees and they will do whatever they can to make sure you do not get hired on at the company you are consulting for. Never expect them to fight for your rights as a consultant and the pay is miserable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay people more. If you are paying pennies on the dollar for a consultant and an employee at the company you are outsourcing labor to is making 2X the money, something is wrong.

    I worked at Envision LLC

    Pros

The people at this company are super friendly, easy to get along with, and will all be your "work friends" within a short amount of time. People are very engaging!
You can have cycles of really great clients. You have the opportunity to meet lots of people with huge personalities and experience how to professionally handle yourself in front of your co-workers, managers, clients, or friends. Of course there are always bad seeds, but this company gives you the opportunity to gather some people skills. It is also a great company to have on your resume due to the mass amounts of work you will be dealing with (data entry, client-facing phone calls, basic database knowledge...). It's great place to help you develop patience and time management skills.

    Cons

Some (only speaking of Envision) of the people are also two-faced and not genuine. There is a severe "finger pointing" problem, and unfortunately no one has enough conviction to voice their opinion or find actual solutions to problems. The management/leadership in the office (ALL offices) is non-existent, and instead of hiring some real talent they just promote people based off of seniority (worst idea ever). People then become burnt out, resentful, and quit, causing a huge cyclical pattern into the high turnover rate that this company has. There is obviously a reason why you can't keep employees. If the people had as much brain as they did skimpy clothes then the company would be super successful.

People consistently talk about how much they hate their jobs and can't wait to quit. Why would anyone want to work with/for a company with that kind of stigma? Management tries to put a band aid on everything by using flattery and gifts, but behind clothes doors where the badmouthing and unprofessional gossiping happens, it's still a shocker to me that anyone still walks through the doors every morning. There is no real positive culture at this company whatsoever! It is a fake façade of trying to "get by", which the company seems to do week by week. I always envisioned myself working for a company where the employees were happy, the management was intelligent and knowledgeable, and everyone as a whole had the drive to see the company succeed. There is no positive future for this company if it keeps staying reactive instead of Proactive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit your job, take some management classes, and then maybe apply to be a manager at Target.

    Pros

Envision offers an abundance of opportunities. They work very hard to find work for their consultants and take a long-term approach to establishing relationships with employers and consultants.

    Cons

Customers can tend to be bottom-feeders looking for the bargain prices on consultants in low-end positions. Envision's cut of the hourly rate is extremely high (up to 80%). The firm is best suited for consultans who either have high bargaining power or are less concerned about pay than gaining experience and establishing relationships

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The firm needs to develop and communicate a clearer vision of where they would like to go. Employees often do not know how to explain what Envision does or what their goals are to clients. Envision would benefit greatly from adaopting an integrated marketing approach.
