    Pros

Great people, benefits, facility, extra activies Lots of internal communication vehicles Good HR web site Good training site Lots of locations Hire back plan

    Cons

Very large many of the same titles - can't figure out who does what which causes some confusion - accountability is tough to nail down - review circle is too broad sometimes seems like many small companies that are disjointed

    Advice to Management

Be more visible - express in detail what work you are seeing that is positive and why - recognize individuals personally - Include employees more often when decisions are made regarding work environment - make the cafetarias of buildings that you rent up to par with buildings that you own

    Pros

Have flexible working schedule. You can work from home one day a week. Friendly coworkers. Comfortable working environments.

    Cons

Pay is lower compared with the same level positions in other companies. Some people in the account team have no knowledge about their job.

I worked at Epsilon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great opportunity for 1) college grads to start their career and 2) those changing careers; learning SQL on the job, data analytics, and software; Peer to Peer recognition program; some flexibility offered (working from home) -- depends on who your manager is; 9a-5p schedule M-F; touch base meetings with managers to track progress; ability to learn multiple perspectives working with other colleagues on projects; stock option; 401(k) matching; 15 days PTO to start; and other great benefits.

    Cons

Managers at times can be immature, inexperienced, and very clique; many employees are promoted internally (which can be good), but then hardly any managerial training is offered to make them better managers; Epsilon, in a company wide meeting, made it very clear that promotions aren't merit based -- but based on years of experience. It is also well known that Epsilon pays at rates that are below market value in the Boston area. Promotion cycles are too long.

    Advice to Management

See cons above. Also, don't give company wide "discretionary" bonuses that are minuscule. If you distribute bonuses, give the top 1/3 performers the highest rate, the middle 1/3 performers a lower rate, and the bottom 1/3 nothing. Do you want the least productive 1/3 working there anyway?!

I worked at Epsilon (More than a year)

    Pros

Junior and mid staff are hard workers, cafe is a great spot for lunch, alot of course in their L&D Program catalog. Good intern program. Flexible hours and ability to WFH, Realized how dysfunctional the place was and got out soon!

    Cons

Shark-like culture, a lot of back stabbing, egos, terribly disconnected executive team, alot of jobs are being shipped to India and the constant layoff show that. Seems like a well oiled machine while interviewing but the company is a MESS functionally. Took me a month to get a computer with the correct software when I on-boarded and I'm chastised bc I can't get work done. Every time I called support, I spoke to some offshore person who had no clue. Local support is managed on the favor system, do IT a favor and they do one for you... sad...

    Advice to Management

Try to engage your employees and not just use them as "fall guys". Put a REAL performance management process in place and manage employee performance. Employees can't succeed and if they don't where they need to be going

    Pros

Great place to work in terms of meeting new people. People are friendly, smart, driven, and fun! The company does a great job of offering work life balance.

    Cons

The company does not pay well. They pay under market value. They are also located on the way outskirts of Boston which make it not an ideal location for those just graduating from college.

    Advice to Management

Restructure your business model. Clients should not pay for employees. The company should pay for as many employees as needed for a project to be done efficiently and right. Too much pressure is put on teams to rush projects because of the lack of support. OR PAY MORE!

    Work life balance. 401 Matching.

    Cons

Management lack of vision. If you are good with higher management, you will get promotion. No need to be smarter. No place for smart idea vision. A lot office politics.

    Advice to Management

    Please retain smarter people.

I have been working at Epsilon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You will learn politics and if you are smart enough then you can move to D.C or even the White House.

    Cons

The very same politics to kill your ambitions, motivation and your career. This might look like a good company initially but ask anyone who has been thru 2 review cycle at least.

    Advice to Management

For the sake of everyone please replace every single person in the upper management including C-Suite with fresh blood. You simply have no new ideas left other than changing the logo, etc.

    Pros

Very good people and culture. The culture is very relaxed and collaborative. Definitely a great place to work in!

    Cons

There aren't too many cons in this company. I would ask about the turn over rate during your interview.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing well. I would suggest increasing the ESPP as well as implement a dividend program for stakeholders and employees moving forward.

    Pros

Great room for growth. You will never be bored. If you are hardworking and willing to learn, there are virtually no limits to what you can learn.

    Cons

The expectations for IT employees are FAR too high. With an outrageous Server to Admin ratio of almost 800:1 the amount of work is almost unattainable for the Admins that we have.

    Advice to Management

Hire more server Administrators, provide more competitive salaries as well as annual bonuses and raises.
