Leadership is sorta passive aggressive and could work a little harder.

Epsilon Associate (Current Employee)

I have been working at Epsilon full-time for more than 5 years

ProsOK place to work if you are new or fresh out of school or have been fired or laid off from your job.
Some really good people still working there and are still holding out hope the company culture will change someday.
High turnover could possibly mean opportunity.
Last time we had layoffs was a few years ago when big hospitality customer was acquired and went through re-org. Lots of people laid off then.
We have only had one large pay-cut since I have been here, but that pay cut was never re-paid.

ConsLeaders come up with projects to get rid of mass numbers of people. "Project Lucy" was one of the more recent. We lost a lot of people over that and no one was held accountable.

Managers office doors are always closed. Can be a big mistake to knock on a closed door while manager is on the internet.

VP encourages associates to secretly slip notes under his door with negative feedback about their direct supervisors who report to him.
Most people have more pride and more integrity than that and are looking for meaningful engagement with their leaders.

Advice to Senior ManagementWe're all adults and we don't need to sneak around asking associates to give secret feedback through the crack under the door. That's as inhuman a workplace as you can get. We would do better to lighten up a little and engage.

A vile brand without a heart and without a soul. Characterless & charmless.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Epsilon

ProsThey'll pretty much hire anyone, so if you need a job badly, chances are you can get one here to hold you over until you next big break.

ConsDo not expect anything beyond your paycheck. Very few perks, bonuses are a joke, management does not care and is ever shifting (not in an upward direction). Women are not treated like a part of the "boys club."

Advice to Senior ManagementGet some female leadership in there.

Sinking Ship

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
San Francisco, CA

I have been working at Epsilon full-time

ProsSome inspiring and passionate people to work with and learn from.
Compensation is decent but leaves you tied to the job.
A short-term opportunity to add highlights to the résumé. The size of the business allows you to make an impact no matter what your position is.

ConsIn an environment where everyone is trying to get out and the new people on-boarded are wondering when they can get out, one can only wonder how far you would go for a job.

Little room for advancement after a certain period, i.e. dead end.
Top heavy with upper management all making executive decisions, the bucket for talent is slowly leaking.
Decisions are not geared toward long-term growth or retention.
Average employment span of 1 year
Corporate atmosphere

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't make hasty decisions. Yes, the company is continually changing and the pace is rapid, but be a little more grounded in reality.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

A great company trying to maintain their stance in the marketplace

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Epsilon full-time

ProsTop talent, interesting work, strong culture. Passionate team keeps this place thriving

ConsSolutionSet as it's original brand is a great place to work. Since it was acquired, the culture is unfortunately changing. The core group is trying to maintain what we had, but large corporate initiatives beat us down.

Advice to Senior ManagementStick to your guns. Don't let the corporate big wigs ruin us
