Visionary CEO and professional culture have been a motivating factor for me. Experiences with higher management have been very positive.

I have been working at Epsilon Systems full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good management, 401k matching benefit, carefully expanding through acquisitions that should serve to reduce costs, streamline processes to better meet customer needs, while increasing their competitive advantage.

    Cons

Paid time off accrues starting at only about 5 hours per month average. More time spent employed with this company equates to more paid time off per pay period.

I worked at Epsilon Systems full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

The are no positives about this company

    Cons

This company is an old boys club. There are no promotions unless you belong to this club and even then you have to apply and interview for it. There is no training at all and the processes for doing anything are very archaic. The insurance rates are through the roof. The 401K hasn't grown in years....this list is endless. This is the most frustrating company ever. The turn over rate is high there.

    Pros

Employee orientated company. The employer takes very good care of employees training, healthcare, and their family. Lots of positive employee recognition from upper management. They have awesome picnics, dinners, and lunches. If you need help from anyone at headquarters they are more than willing to help you. It is a great company to work at in San Diego.

    Cons

    The pay is contact driven

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the good work

I have been working at Epsilon Systems full-time

    Pros

Some good benefits like 401k matching and tuition reimbursement...
My direct boss is great to work with.

    Cons

Company was purchased by Epsilon and was bounced around in different divisions... Total lack of direction or planning. Pay is low. New upper management doesn't seem to get our industry and is completely changing what we once did - the people don't matter, it's just bodies and numbers to them. If you are out of the inner San Diego circle you don't seem to matter much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make your other offices and companies outside of San Diego feel important too. Have a plan before you buy a company.

I worked at Epsilon Systems full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

People outside the corporate offsite are great. Growing company with plans to increase their rate of going after contracts. Benefits are field average.

    Cons

Low pay and low yearly increases. Little within company promotions as they often fill new positions from the outside. If you work outside the corporate circle you're a second class employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Understand the value of the customer site personnel, share the company success with employees.
