Business Improvements in the market and the stability that is provided by Orange Business Services "Eguant previously"

I have not seen any up till now, But I could say that in Cairo I would rather we all work at the same building

Always encourage your employees to take the Trainings they require, they will benefit alot help improve their skills and this impacts the business directly

Invest in quality. The ROI in the employee, their skills and energy is most important.

Environment is very good, technical people will enjoy working as it is very good place to learn new technologies & emerging services, also for non-technical people it is very good place to learn more about project management & consulting.
Cons
Although environment and people are very good but the main con is the basic salary and financial benefits, also annual raise & salary is not compared to other companies in the same field.
Advice to Senior Management
it is very strange to offer new employees better packages for same positions occupied by older employees, even if an employee is transferred internally to this position, he/she gets lower package than the external hire.
So if the salaries were reviewed employees will be happier.

A very good award winning WAN network, lots of honest hard working people with pockets of good skills throughout the firm, and a legitimate contender for leadership of global communication services (voice, video, UC). A big Cisco and Avaya integration shop.
Cons
Leadership lacks integrity or accountability to results. French management likes to use words like innovation and vision without having any whatsoever. Complete lack of investments outside France -International is the red headed step child. Highly political environment where your buddy from school matters more than your work, ideas, or merits.
Advice to Senior Management
Fire most of yourselves and let the competent people that actually make things run at the client level do their job and stop protecting aweful sales people and mid level managers that are running failing organizations. Develop a strategy execution plan and invest in it rather than claim time to market of 18+ months is acceptable to any real client.

- tendancy to keep low performing employees and get rid of those that demonstrate passion, initiative and willingness to success. Company is sending a message that we endorse an environment of mediocricy
-office layout is not condusive to conduct business. cannot have private converstaions - call center environment

remove the indian management, They have started to only for their own benift and can go to any extend to save money.

Equant have a very laid back attitude. They do expect to you to work hard and achieve both yuor goal and the companies goals. Their salaries and benefits are fair.
Cons
The company is not interested in giving their competent staff adequate increases. They are in downsizing mode and will not even counter offer if you intend leaving. They can easily bring people from other subsisiaries and pay them less.

In order to be competetive it is important to have a program where the staff are give a fair chance to succeed in their careers if they intend working for Equant.

Great Benefits, Liberal Telecommute Policy. Like my job very much. Have worked for company for 18 years and have been able to transfer around so I don't get bored. Awesome vacation package.
Cons
Long hours and not much down time. Worried about job security by outsourcing. Need better support from management to inforce deadlines and policies. Job cuts have pushed more work to fewer employees. Find it very hard to get time off. Lack of cordination between people that I have to work with. Wish they would have some guranteed pension plan. Employee morale is lacking. Lack of raises or recognition for a job well done

I don't think they realize actually how many hours I work a week. Don't honor deadlines, don't follow global policies. Find someway to be able to insure employees of job security. Review salaries across the board with other companies'
