I worked at Equifax full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and PTO was fair. Flex time was awesome and casual Friday's were nice. Nice coworkers, if not a bit too gossipy.

    Cons

Low pay for UI team members and the environment was getting more rigid when I left. Positions are also becoming very compartmentalized, so it's getting harder to really branch out and remain engaged.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Up the pay and keep the culture light, employees shouldn't be reduced to drones.

I have been working at Equifax full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good location. I don't know what else I can say that would be positive.

    Cons

Wow, where do I start? Small-minded and extremely political "leadership" for the under 5000 employee sales team. Who died and made her God?? And the managers, OMG! They had a guy there who knew what he was doing but they ran him out.

Senior management doesn't seem to have a clue about what's going on or they just don't care.

Bottom line; if you have ANY other option, take it!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the "leadership" for the 500-5000 EE sales team! Ditch the politics and try to understand what's really going on. Bring back the guy you let them get rid if.

I have been working at Equifax full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly co-workers. Good work life balance. Job stability

    Cons

Little room for advancement due to the fact that management doesn't want to train new employees to fill vacancy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage employees to advance their careers within the company.

I have been working at Equifax full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The location is good if that's important with easy access to various expressways. There are a lot of restaurants around the area. The building is nice and well maintained.

    Cons

Where do I even start? I sell on the phone to mid-sized companies. (under 5000 employees) It's all cold calling and grind, grind, grind. The team is ok but has a lot of small-minded politics. Actually, the same can be said for the entire company. The bigger issue is the management of this team. Horrible, not supportive, political, and negative doesn't really begin to describe it. The management of the team is so bad that I'm actively looking for a new position outside of this company, even though I'll probably make over $100k this year. It just isn't worth it anymore.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the management and leadership of the team. Find a way to get rid of all the politics. Treat people fairly and ethically. Create an actual upward career path.

I have been working at Equifax full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Flex hours, co workers ( not managers) paycheck, benefits are just average even though owned by Equifax.

    Cons

Pay, no opportunities to move up. Management doesn't care. Terrible IT dept and HR.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management needs to be more in tune with what the department manager is doing. No room to move up based on experience. You can have a degree in tidliwinks and get a job over someone who has been there for 20 years with the right experience. NO LOYALITY to any of their employees. Just a minion.

I worked at Equifax full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Flex time, great PTO. Nice people to work with. One nice thing they did was move us to a sewhat nicer office.

    Cons

Equifax aquired my company. It use to be a great place to work. Now most people I work with hope they sell us off. There is no benefits to this job. Unrealistic performance expectations, set by higher management who have no clue as to what you do. The Lean garbage they force down our throats is beyond tiring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wake up and quit abusing your employees. To senior management- try some employee engagement strategies. You are killing us.
