Pros
The company seems to care about it's employees.
Cons
Employee benefits could be more competitive. Compensation for training could be more competitive.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep it simple.
Pros
I worked as an administrative assistant for the peninsula property management team. It was horrible. The managers make you feel like you're never doing a great job or would you amount to anything. They notice your bad traits more than your good traits. They make you doubt your self-worth. They DO NOT respect admins there AT ALL. NONE or whatsoever. Even as a temp, when it's illegal or out of the ordinary to force the temp to drive outside of the working environment, they made me do it. Being a team player, I didn't care but not once I was acknowledged. The pay was good. All in all, your hard work will not be acknowledged by the peninsula team no matter how hard you try to impress them. BEWARE. If you work for Equity Office, work for another team!!!
P.S: The only reason why I survived was due to my co-workers. Co-workers there are great and down to earth.
Cons
HORRIBLE UPPER MANAGEMENT. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE WHO ARE LOWER THAN THEM.
Advice to Senior Management
Please at least respect or be nice to people who are lower than you. You were once in their shoes. Know where you came from
Pros
Size of the company enables rapid growth opportunites. A great talent pool exists within EOP.
Cons
Constant changes in policies and procedures. Lack of consideration for the customers and employees when making procedural decisions.
Advice to Senior Management
Think through all changes before implementing them in the field or with customers. Provide information in a timely manor with honesty and sincerity. Understand the demotivation that occurs when dishonesty and secretiveness is obvious.
Pros
Skilled team members. Company knows how to have fun.
Cons
Selling portfolio and downsizing the regions.
Advice to Senior Management
Dont fix it if it's not broken.
