A bunch of old people doing the same old without being able to innovate

    Operations Consultant (Current Employee)

ProsGet to work on new technology if you're in the right department with the right job title

ConsREALLY old people working here, need to layoff more of the old non updating people

Advice to Senior ManagementFire all C*O execs, everyone above 40 with more than 10 years consecutive years at ErgoGroup (they need new experiences) and gather all operations personell under one umbrella and start over. It'll cost a lot of money and hurt, but it needs to be done.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

OK management but terrible compensation and employee handling

Senior Advisor (Former Employee) Oslo (Norway)

    ProsLarge company with long history
    Very skilled co-workers
Nice office location, just outside downtown Oslo
    Interesting projects for high-end employees

ConsLow salaries with clauses to reduce possible payment further
    Chaotic organization with little direction
Rules and regulations with no meaning or effect
Little or no support for knowledge sharing
Bonus agreement that tricks employees and never pays
Endless chain of command (8-9 levels to top management, for 3.000 employees!)

Advice to Senior ManagementChange your compensation packages and stop tricking employees!
A roof on salaries make no sense if you want to attract exceptional people.
Reduce management levels and try to be present in the organization.
    Change middle-management or remove them.

    A good place to work!

Systems Administrator (Current Employee) Oslo (Norway)

    ProsExcellent management.
Very high degree of loyalty towards their employees.
Very good follow up when employees get hurt and have to go on long term sickleave.
    Good opportunities for career advancement.
Steady employer, with transparent leadership. You wont suddenly find yourself without a job due to a takeover.

ConsToo large, some aspects of the administrative processes get overly complicated.
Salary is on the low side, but the benefits are good.
High work pressure. You must meet the quotas (hours charged to customer per week). This creates a bad atmosphere between employee and leadership if quotas arent met for a while.

Advice to Senior ManagementAllow the various local offices to handle their own expense accounts instead of centralizing everything.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
