Pros
Great healthcare coverage. competitive salaries.
Cons
very Hierarchical, when it comes to access to data
Pros
You are working with cutting edge technology, good people, good benefits, good exposure and many opportunities if you want to work internationally.
Cons
Salary a bit on the low side (for me anyway) when compared to previous position. There are layoffs every year (at least since I have been here since '09) as they remove the bottom 10% every year. I think this hurts morale.
Advice to Senior Management
Enough with the 10% reductions every year...get the organization sized correctly. Yes you can get rid of dead wood but keep who you want to keep and reward them with decent salaries and bonuses. The morale would be much higher if you did this.
Pros
Benefits package is outstanding, bonus structure is fair.
Culture is diverse and there are a lot of brilliant people working side by side.
It is impossible not to learn something new each and every day.
Cons
No executive leadership program in place.
Advice to Senior Management
Develop an executive leadership program for high potential managers.
Pros
Great benefit system. Good office. Lots of great projects.
Cons
Overloaded works. Poor management. Very demotivated at time when the managers ignore your hard works and great achievements.
Advice to Senior Management
Talents are the key for your success. Please be more respect to your employees.
Pros
great place to learn
open environment
mutual respect
best medical and dental
Cons
fear of being laid off every year no matter how you perform or the company
if you leave company you cant join back it is an HR policy
Advice to Senior Management
Just think of the families of the people who worked here for their lives and they get laid off rather retirement is not a good practice. ERICSSON is the best company to work for. But just blindly following the policy of other companies will hurt in future may be not business wise. I love Ericsson, what an employee need is motivation; if lacking performance, dont just fire them all they need is motivation.
Why Ericsson has become so cold blooded is out of my understanding.
Same way if some one goes out cuase he/she was frustrated and now after realisation wanted to come back give them a chance...allow them to fight in competition...this guy will work extra hard now because he has reaslised the value of Ericsson......
Pros
Lots of hardworking, talented, and dedicated employees make it fun to work.
Cons
Disappointingly low pay and doesn't really understand how to drive great technology innovation
Pros
Good Growth and great Innovation
Cons
Low salary compared to other companies
Advice to Senior Management
raise salary
Pros
The work hours are really great. You can go in any time you want and do not need to ask for permission to leave any time you want. The pay is also really good.
Cons
Tasks are not always challenging. The work can be boring at times.
Advice to Senior Management
The management is really great. They do a really good job in making sure that the employees are satisfied. Very good management.
Pros
The leader in industry. Very good colleagues and collaborative. Very good benefits package, infact the best benefits seen so far.
Cons
Poor middle management. Least of industry salaries, varies very much for the same title. "Loyalty" is followed not in spirit.
Advice to Senior Management
Penny wise pound foolish. Think about the business being lost and employee motivation. Company motto says "people are the asset", but don't care when people leave.
Pros
Product Knowledge is improved vastly
Cons
Mismanagement is at it's peak in EUS
Advice to Senior Management
Improve competence of lower management
