I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Ericsson is driving the development towards a networked society. It is fun to be part of that. Excellent benefits and high tempo.

    Cons

As all publicly traded large companies there is to much short term focus which sometimes drives less than perfect behavior.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be focused on change, continue to be ahead of the curve in terms of driving the networked society.

There are really no cons with this company from a contractors standpoint.

  8. A great company to work for, with good quality people

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Some of the best people if worked with in Telecoms work for Ericsson

    Cons

Like most big companies, it trips over its feet a lot: administration is too heavy & unwieldy, and it's often hard to get decisions made. Also there is not the culture of innovation and future-building that one might expect.

    Advice to Management

Get your account managers to sell--and invest--in grounding breaking business ideas with our Customers. Stop selling just software and systems: start selling what those assets can actually do.

I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Overall it's a good company to work for. Good amount of training offered. Nice environment, comfortable office and good facilities.

    Cons

Uneven teams make it hard to change from one team to other. Management could be improved. Should improve software development process.

    Advice to Management

Teams don't have sense of working for same goal because management focus on each team result and it affects the resulting product.
