    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Erimax full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A decent initial salary. Individuals seem motivated to work. The company has been winning a number of contracts recently. Management will do what it takes to make the dollar.

    Cons

You are only one resume away from being replaced. Extra work is not necessarily rewarded or acknowledged. There can be a sense of favoritism between management and some employees.

    Advice to Management

It's easy to fire problems; however, this strategy can only get you so far. Individuals have tangible as well as intangible benefits. Why not try to take the harder path and earn the loyalty and respect of your employees?

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Erimax full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work for the federal government. All government holidays are honored.

    Cons

Small company with a small mindset. Have to take vacation days on snow days. If the government shuts down, say good bye to your vacation days. No job security. Mostly short-term contracts.

    Advice to Management

Understand that your contractors are your greatest asset. Value them and treat them well.

    Pros

Good compensation, decent benefits, pretty much leave you alone. Your employer is really the customer, i.e., the government. Erimax just sends the pay checks.

    Cons

They place you in a position, and then they just hope that everything is going well. They just send you the pay checks.

    Advice to Management

Take a more active interest and meet with the customer and with your employees more frequently.
