Pros
Flexibility, Awards for Performance, Diverse clients
Cons
Work can be very self-driven, not always given a lot of guidance on projects

-Subject matter expertise of co-workers
-Inclusiveness and collaboration
-Opportunities to work on federal policy formation and implementation
Cons
-Little to no appreciation for good work
-FSO cut-off from the rest of EY
Advice to Senior Management
While focusing on firm growth, also look at satisfaction of its employees. While on one hand there seems to be a strong 'people' focus, that does not seem demonstrated by actions of the middle management.
Pros
Flexible hours, good management mostly, lots to learn and people are willing to teach you. Annual raises are usually decent.
Cons
Sometimes have to work long hours that you aren't compensated for. Bonuses are atrocious. Promotions only happen on an annual basis.
Advice to Senior Management
Promote more often and give bigger bonuses and give bigger raises and give signing bonuses. There wasn't any relocation compensation either.
Pros
- Good benefits
- Well regarded
- Good exit opportunities
Cons
- Bureaucratic reviews
- Pay could be better
Pros
Work life balance, picking up great management skills, extremely good leadership at the top
Cons
Long work hours, Extremely competitive
Advice to Senior Management
Keep doing the good job, try to remove siloes between groups
Pros
Global company with many different departments
Cons
Company is outsourcing more responsibilities
Advice to Senior Management
None
Pros
There are many opportunities to work outside of your current area. Goals are factored into your responsibilities and you're encouraged to set and ensure that these are achieved. You learn a great deal and skills are honed. The people are nice overall. You work for a well respected company.
Cons
Long hours in the weekday and on the weekends. Salary is not competitive. You will get passed over for a promotion if not in a certain service line. Others are favored more than some.
Advice to Senior Management
Competitive salaries. If you work hard, have excellent reviews and performing at a level above your own, you should be promoted and compensated. Please alert your Management.
Pros
People culture, flexibility, long term benefits
Cons
True global integration has a long way to go
Advice to Senior Management
Work to better integrate Americas with EMEIA and Asia PAC not just in brand name but also across core business teams, financials, etc
Pros
I was well prepared for my next job.
Cons
Very competitive envirnoment and at times intimidating.
Pros
You get to work with some exceptional talent and real chance to tackle projects in diverse fields. There is plenty of opportunity to grow within the company.
Cons
You need to constantly billable. Unless you are contributing to some significant practice development work, you constantly feel the pressure to be in some project or the other.
