    Pros

Many dedicated and sharp co-workers, impressive products and clients, room for advancement. If you are focused and serious about a career, the opportunity to shine and move up is there. Management is very focused on customers, technology, and innovation. Apparently there are many happy and dedicated employees as quite a few have been with the company for 10 years or more!

    Cons

High expectations. They have been one of the fastest growing companies in the valley for a few years, so they must be doing something right. I understand how some new employees are not aware of the complexity of the products and projects, the involved processes, and high customer demands. Perhaps more internal communication from managers would be helpful and could paint a better picture for those who don't know.

    Advice to Management

Communicate your and company's expectations with new candidates before they are hired, and with your team, and ensure they truly understand and hear you. Seems like the unhappy employees here are the ones that either were not aware or did not understand company's expectations.

    Cons

Too much micro management required to get simple tasks complete

    Advice to Management

Take care of workers better. Pay is very low

    Pros

People here are very friendly and there is a great sense of community here Able to wear many different hats and learn a lot for future career development

    Cons

It may be hard to work here if you don't have the right mind set, but if you are hard working and think positive, you will be very successful here. They reward hard-working individuals that are understanding of the companies position and try to better the company.

    Pros

Better to collect a paycheck than see your bank balance go to $0

    Cons

Terrible environment to work in. -No onboarding process. Finally started training during my second week. R&D engineers wouldn't teach me about the product -Was given 2 hours of work to do every day. Got in trouble for surfing the internet (after asking for more work). -Was let go (contract-to-hire position) after 9 (nine!) days. Reasons: Came to work late (bike had a flat/came in late to look at the manufacturing process during the swing shift); surfing the internets (see above); bad attitude (???); interrupted the onboarding process of another individual (I showed her where the bathrooms are and introduced her to the rest of the group)

    Advice to Management

Gut the core of engineers: sr level engineers and lower level managers. Establish an onboarding process for new engineers. Establish a good work/life balance (coworkers said that they work 10-12 hours a day). Pay market wages ($40k/year for an engineer with a degree in the Bay Area? Good luck competing with all the tech companies down the street.)

    Pros

The colleagues were very pleasant to work with. Great experience on resource/knowledge sharing within the team. Met a lot of professional and respectable people in essai. Learned a lot there too. If you want to learn something, passionate on whatever you are going to do, go to essai. You will have fun there. But if you prefer easy money, you may want to move on to other opportunities.

    Cons

Process was not very mature or missing. Relay on the individuals self-motivation / awareness. Some important steps may be missing without process or detail documentation.

    Advice to Management

Process and documentation have room for improvement.

    Pros

    Friendly co-workers, close to 880

    Cons

Please do yourself a favor by not coming to work at this place as so many employees have left and there was no traceability for what was done before...you will be on your own and no one cares for you and helps you with adequate training. The managers will only focus on the negative side of you, never positive, only negative! They are all Mr. Negatives.

    Advice to Management

Say something good about the fellow empoyees, no wonder why every one has left or is going to leave. This place pays the least amount of money with worst benefits and lowest work/life balance.

    Pros

I do not see any good thing about this company

    Cons

    1. Some of the Sr Apps Engineers do not know what they are doing, making a very easy change into back and forth. 2. Manager could only remember how much you own him but have a short memory of how much he owns you. 3. Some of the people, who is really slacking off (open up a solidwork model and browse internet all day), the manger does not care and still think he is the hardworking. While some of the people, who is really hard working, the manger let him go. 4. Manager called you in during Thanks Giving for project while he was relaxing at home.

    Advice to Management

    1. Please treat your employee fair. 2. Please communicate between manager to avoid resource fight.

    Pros

It is stable, low lay off!

    Cons

They are having a trust issue. Don't distribute supplies to employees needed when it's for work related. Everyime, we requested, they asked what is for??? "For work, hello" The pay is always low, they expected 2-3 years experience and pay you with entry level. Bad management skills and no appropriate procedures.

    Advice to Management

Unable reasonbale to deal with. Doesn't appreciate employees, treat employees very unprofessional.
