Lot of promise but, minimal fulfilment, company on a aim less journey, lacks a quality leader.

Assistant VP-Commercial (Current Employee)
Mumbai (India)

I have been working at Essel Group

ProsIt is a part of ESSEL group, hence financial security is very good. Promoters are dynamic people, I take pride in associating with them. They have fantastic vision and resources to achieve the same. Very handson types.

ConsCompany offers lot of promise, but there is a big communication gap between promoters vision and emplyees. The business leader lacks experience and core competence. Poor communication skill and low emotional quotient makes him nightmare of a boss. Leader himself is insecure and biased, follows old school thinking proccess of leading. Promotes infighting to take upper hand.

Advice to Senior ManagementChange the business head, bring a technocrate with proven track record, most importantly he/she should be an excellent leader.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
