I have been working at Esurance full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great use of technology, corporate and branding philosophy is genuine and substantial. Growing pains as they transition from a large small company into a small large one are challenging but not disheartening.

    Cons

Not a place for passive ambition. Don't expect rewards to drop into your lap; if you want things bad enough, and work smart enough (not necessarily harder), your efforts will be recognized and rewarded.

    Pros

They have great benefits and perks. The OT incentives are awesome. Opportunities to grow within the company. The environment is great. I've worked for other contact centers in the past and Esurance is by far the best. Management is very helpful and knowledgeable. I love working here.

    Cons

Aside from the background check process, haven't had any negative experiences.

    Pros

Great coworkers, always willing to collaborate and get the job done. Intelligent people, very approachable and willing to finish challenging projects no matter what. Benefits and vacation time are decent for the Bay Area company.

    Cons

Work from home policies can be a little more flexible (currently up to one day per week). As the company is growing some things tend to take more time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the good job.

The Culture, the openess, the incentives and appreciation given are priceless. Oh, and the great benefits are a great plus, and there is a schedule around the clock that is usually suitable for anyone.

I worked at Esurance full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

I had the privilege of working for Esurance during two huge rapid growth spurts, and I loved that they want people to step up, step in and help drive the company forward. Despite it being a highly regulated industry, they do some pretty cutting edge stuff. It is not at all political, and management has a healthy approach to leading the business.

    Cons

Being acquired by Allstate has added some extra bureacracy. That said, most employees are not exposed to it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep focusing on the people. And, stay real and authentic. Focus on keeping the special Esurance culture that you have.
