    Pros

Great company, believes in developing and hiring from within.

    Cons

Outsourcing is a tough, low margin business. Etech does best to compensate people but it is hard based on what their customers ay Etech.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your center directors and managers are practicing the same leadership values the company professes.

    Pros

great benefits if you can handle massive amounts of stress with a big grin on your face

    Cons

Managers pass the buck to employees constantly, don't take responsibility. It's always your fault even if you are a top performer. You will not get promoted unless you can kiss a lot of rear and smile about it.

    Pros

Different campaigns to work on. Pretty easy to get a job if you really need one. Very easy to keep the job.

    Cons

The management is very quid pro quo. Many scandals. Very little opportunity for advancement, despite promises. If a supervisor is handling more than one campaign, you are basically asked to lie when the representatives from that campaign come down and say that this supervisor is only handling this one campaign.

    Advice to Management

    Stop being messy.

    Pros

Usually readily available jobs. Sometimes flexible with school. Has tuition reimbursement. Difficult to get fired. Many different campaigns.

    Cons

Difficult to advance. Management has been known to be "shady," very "quid pro quo." Some people that should be fired are not because of apathy or office politics.

    Advice to Management

    Don't be so messy.

    Pros

The best reason to work for this company is the flexibility of the work schedule. If you are a student and you just need a little extra money to make it through school, this job is perfect for you because they will work around your schedule.

    Cons

They don't pay you enough to put up with management. Peoples jobs are always threatened in order to try to get results in sales. Which is totally backwards.

    Advice to Management

My advice is that you give your employees incentives to push harder. This company use to be based on that. I don't know what happened. There is no holiday pay, you have to use your accumulated time in order to have a day off with pay. Treat your employees right and the increase will come.

I worked at Etech part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Extremely flexible hours. Tuition reimbursement program. Lot's of opportunity for overtime. Easy ability to move to another position within Etech. Pretty good training.

    Cons

Very hard to get a raise. Lunches nor 15 minute breaks are paid for. You must clock out if you want to take a break. No really good compensation programs, so you will barely make comp. Terrible pay considering the customers you have to deal with.

    Advice to Management

Create better compensation programs. Treat employees like actual people instead of just focusing on your quota.
