I have been working at Eurest Services full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Coworkers are fantastic, smart people. I have learned a lot from them, and would consider many of them to be friends!
Cons – The head office can be difficult to work with...from slow responses, to payroll errors. There can be a large disconnect between them and our sites.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Eurest Services full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – You have to become very self reliant, very fast. As with any contract management company, you live and die by your relationship with you client. This is a pro for me, but may be a con for someone else. If you can successfully manage the relationship with your own company and your client, there is room for growth- but you must prove yourself first and fight for a competitive salary.
Cons – The company is old school and stuck in their ways. Everything is black and white which doesn't work anymore for todays thriving businesses that the company services. It's very hard to get them to change their ideas and the HR/payroll interaction is almost comical at times.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your managers who are in the field and know what the client wants and needs in order to retain business. Your main assets are your staff. You have to pay if you want them to stay.

I worked at Eurest Services as a contractor for less than a year
Pros – Full health benefits and a generous vacation package.
Cons – Horrible management that cares little for its employees. Dead-end position.
Advice to Senior Management – In addition to the generous benefit package, allow for opportunities for employees to learn new skills. Hire management that is open to employee ideas and feedback. Provide opportunities for advancement.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I worked at Eurest Services full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Often fully integrated into a client site. Benefits are pretty good and vacation is plentiful.
Cons – Payroll is incompetent, and Recruiting is a joke. If you're the hiring manager, expect to be finding your own hires. Senior management often doesn't fully understand what is happening at client sites, which causes strained relationships with clients. It was a struggle to have senior management understand our daily responsibilities and therefore were not compensated appropriately. Turnover was very high.
Advice to Senior Management – Get out to your client sites and see what your people are actually doing. After seeing them on the job, reevaluate their compensation.

I have been working at Eurest Services part-time for less than a year
Pros – meet hardworking people, you co-workers, anyone can get hired.
Cons – you pay will always be screwed up, your check will be short hours, your pay rate will NOT be what they tell you it will be. if you work 50 hours in two weeks you may get paid for about 40 hours. some paid days you wont even get a check, if you get hurt on the job they do not care its on you to get help. they lie to get you to agree to work there, unemployment will pay you more, DO NOT TAKE A JOB HERE
Advice to Senior Management – stop lying to people, when you tell someone its 40 hour a week at $11.00 with benefits, don't cut their hour to 20 a week after the first week, and just pay them 8 an hour.

I have been working at Eurest Services
Pros – Direct managers and coworkers are great, good environment
Cons – Repeated payroll discrepancies, unable to contact benefits dept to solve problems. Like there was no way to communicate with the company who's paying me.

I have been working at Eurest Services
Pros – -Hiring is quick and easy
-Managers are friendly and helpful
-Work is not particularly strenuous or difficult
-People stay out of your way and let you do your job - very little micro-managing
Cons – -Employees are expected to work at an unrealistically fast pace - this usually means selectively cutting corners to get the job done
-The pay is too low and the hours are too short - nobody could realistically expect to pay their bills on the strength of this job alone
-Very inflexible schedule, includes holidays. I often go several weeks with no days off.
-Depressingly low advancement prospects
-Recklessly fast hiring means often getting placed with irresponsible employees. I need to expand on how this becomes a problem for the other employees. On more than one occasion, I've been woken up at 6am by the area manager calling me to tell me I need to come in on my day off to cover for someone who didn't show up. When I was first hired, I was told I would have a 5-day work week. Now I work 7 days a week, with almost all of my days off being taken away at the last minute, usually because someone else either didn't show up, quit, or was fired.
Advice to Senior Management – -Be more cautious about who you choose to hire - I truly believe that this is the core cause of almost all the problems I've experienced working for Eurest. In addition to placing an additional strain on the more responsible employees, it reflects badly on the company as a whole. I know that the store I work at is disappointed with the performance of our crew, and also know this is largely due to the incompetent workers that come and go every few weeks. Take some more time, hire a good crew, and you'll save everyone the trouble of trying to pick up the slack for people who don't do their jobs.

I have been working at Eurest Services
Pros – Very good people who genuinely care about the fate of employees
Cons – Not very good work/life balance.
Very rigid system and process
Only 1 way to do everything. No flexibility
Advice to Senior Management – Need to lead more, and manage less.

I have been working at Eurest Services part-time for more than a year
Pros – Its a job, If you cant find anything else it will do
Cons – Treated like low life, supervisor allocates jobs so he doesnt have to get up off chair. Doesnt matter if you dont have enough time to get things done, You get a list to do then if anything else comes up just add it to your list.. tag your it. Doesnt matter if you do a great job no appreciation for going above and beyond, do it once and your expected to do it all the time
Advice to Senior Management – Show us some respect, min wage should be 15$ per hour for crap we put up with. We should ALL get benefits not just select few we have 15 employees and 3 get benefits? Train supervisors
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
