Good agency that was stymied by its own politics...

I worked at Euro RSCG Impact full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The IMPACT experiential/lifestagemarketing group, where I worked, was a high-energy entrepreneurial operation, very liberating and results-oriented.

    Cons

The general agency was very political, like many large networks, and seemed disdainful of the specialized knowledge we tried to bring to bear in building integrated programs. So we often simply tried to avoid working with the advertising practice -- it was too much difficulty.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Flatten the politics and territoriality, if you want truly agnostic solutions and collaboration.

Great people and fun work environment but not a company I want a career with.

    Pros

This is a great company to work for if marketing/advertising is your field. Everyone is very friendly, but the recession hit them hard.

    Cons

The company is not currently growing very much which makes it tough for entry level people/applicants. Also, the money isn't great.
