    Pros

    None. No advancement opportunity. Ethics and quality should be the cornerstones of a business but have been pushed to the side for profit margins which are shrinking.

    Cons

    Pay. Management. ETHICS! Ethics capitalized for Eurofins STA does not possess any. Their SOPs are all out of date. There is no training. I had to rely on my previous experience in order to perform my job. Management has no guidance or direction. They miss positive samples sent into them for confirmation. Eurofins is a last resort for employment. Good to keep your head above water for pay but bad for a career. There is no motivation from higher ups and lower ranking employees. Once again good if you just want to collect a paycheck. Future applicants need not apply.

    Advice to Management

    Change. Lack of documentation and SOPs is a huge problem. Following a sample from start to finish is a challenge when it should not be because they have been in business for so long. Sales are down and rightfully so at Eurofins STA because quality takes a back seat.

    You can work your butt off but you are not appreciated for it. They play favorites Trying to run a variable bussiness with strict time frames

    Listen to your employees complaints, they are real

    Growing company (although not sure for how long)

    Gilles (Martin) Kingdom. Employees are pawns. New buzz words: TGHP...Eurofins plan to hire only from without (no internal promotions) to offer top dollars to "Top Grads with High Potential". If you are hoping to advance, sorry, not for you. They want outsiders to come in and measure YOUR efficiency. Oh, and by the way: current Medinet employees? you are about to lose your job to Lancaster....rumor has it, Lancaster is validating a brand new lab to take over all Medinet testing -in secret!...and all current Medinet employees will have to transfer from Chantilly, VA to Lancaster, PA or they are let go...Shhh, it's a secret! How's that for an honest relationship? Beware...this company is not trustworthy! Not the first time and won't be the last time that Eurofins made such an uncaring decision. And they squeeze every drop of your time or you are considered not a team player...

    Advice to Management

    Your turnover is only the beginning of your woes. Pay attention more to the welfare of your employees and not just on your networking capital. How many times has Des Moines seen turnover? And now your shared services are being transferred to Lancaster? How long until your Lancaster employees get smart? Eventually, the economic environment will improve and you will not be able to retain any more good people because they will be too smart to stay.

    State of the art laboratory equipment managers can get away with FRAUDING RESULTS FROM COMPANIES staff members get away with TAKING SAMPLES HOME

    managers don't appreciate the hard work done by staff lack of progression here HR are ALL useless haven't got a clue what they are doing Ian Swinton hasn't got a clue what is happening in his own company

    Pros

    Good Pay Team lunch every two months.

    Cons

    1. Facilities are very bad. 2. Promises having worst rest rooms. Admins are not addressing any issue. 3. Rest rooms are not tidy at all. Flush doesn't work sometimes. 4. Region based politics are worst in industry. 5. Does not feel like working in Software Industry. 6. Few rejected candidates are joined as managers and team management is worst in few teams. 7. Admins do not solve any problems related to cabs, facilities, promises. 8. Too much documentation. 9. They say they are following scrum. But it is not at all a scrum. 10. Projects are not getting delivered ontime. 11. People behavior is effecting the team and no action taken.

    Advice to Management

    1. Change the admins worst in handling issues. 2. Change few managers playing region politics. 3. Focus more on work rather than other things. 4. Take action on people who misbehave.

    Pros

    Cabs, Free food (Not good) and friendly people Short time onsites. Good pay.

    Cons

    Please do not join this company. There is no transparency. They tell that job in advanced technologies and after joining you will see that is in very old technologies like classic ASP, VB6 etc. Please be very care full joining in Bangalore location. Also it has filthy rest rooms equivalent to one in bus stands. Those who go to short term onsite need to serve company for another 10 months even the onsite is for 2 weeks. Otherwise need to payback the onsite expenditure back to company. No understanding of what we are going to work. Employee unfriendly, no work from home policy.

    Advice to Management

    Keep a transparency on what exactly employees work. and about the policies Please introduce employee friendly policy instead of the unrealistic travel policy. Also, note that employees stay in a company based on trust and not based on restricted policies.

    I have been working at Eurofins Scientific as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Office/lab is within 30 minute drive of anywhere in Des Moines

    Cons

    The place smells horrible - either like biproduct (dead things) or manure. The pay among lab staff and admin staff below director level is subpar and their health benefits are the worst I've ever seen - over $500 a month employee cost for family insurance. I have been working here as a temp for two months and witnessed many instances of questionable behavior among managers. Example: the administrative area was closed off due to black mold but the lab staff was lied to and told they are just painting that area. The catholic religion/rules are regularly discussed openly by HR staff in front of other staff. I recently took a tour of the laboratories and have never seen a more unhappy group of people. I was offered a permanent position, however, am not interested at any rate. Turnover is extremely high among not only Eurofins Scientific but among all the Eurofins business units (they go by many different names). My two month contract here is almost up and I couldn't be happier. I would rather be unemployed than work here. Beware!! The CEO, Michael Russell, is the only person I have met here that didn't leave me with a feeling of creepiness. A very odd group of people! The administrative staff in the Des Moines location will most likely not have jobs within a couple years as they are slowly moving operations to another service center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

    aucun avantages, très bien structuré en terme financier, évasion fiscale à outrance. dire que tout cela part d'un brevet déposé par des parents et racheté l'état par les enfants .... étonnant me direz-vous.

    Cons

    financier a la tête, vous êtes une machine, une multitude de filiale. Bingalore et l'inde est leur nouvel eldorado! management par la pression et avec des compétences tres limitées

    ils n'écoutent rien a lors pourquoi faire un commentaire !!! étonnant d'ailleurs tous les avis positifs viennent de l'inde ? étonnant ? Il faut dire qu'avec les contrats que vous leurs mettez dessus ils doivent certainement être obligé de mettre un avis positif sinon ils doivent rembourser une somme astronomique
