    Good coworkers, bad senior management

    Maintenance (Former Employee)
    Snowflake, AZ

ProsI enjoyed the people I worked with on a daily basis. I learned a lot from some very helpful coworkers. Pay and benefits were OK. Most of the "inner circle of managers" were canned when they merged with another company.

ConsDifficult to get a raise. Upper management quick to jump to conclusions. Most of the upper managers were of one nationality and a very tight knit group. Difficult to please.

Advice to Senior ManagementPromote from within and take the time to mentor and train your supervisors.

    Packhouse Supervisor (Current Employee)
    Willcox, AZ

ProsThe learning of working under pressure and handling of large amount of personnel that helps the development of leadership, collaboration and self confidence.

ConsLocation is very remote and company does not compensate for it, they don't perform periodical employee reviews and work hours can extend up to 12+ hours a day for 6 or seven days a week.

Advice to Senior ManagementTeamwork communication & work needs to be developed in order to create a better work environment and there needs to be transparency towards the decision making criteria.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Satisfactory but rather disappointing

    Staff Accountant (Current Employee)
    Willcox, AZ

ProsThe compensation is acceptable but not impressive. The business in an interesting Industry that makes work more enjoyable. There are many opportunities to work in different areas of the company because of the small infastructure.

ConsThe management is poor. They do not provide clear focus or objectives and do provide feedback or support to employees. The management has also shown an inability to adapt to a changing market conditions. The location is undesirable being very isolated from any major metropolitan areas.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe company needs to make fundamental changes to its culture which can only be accomplished by clearly communicated and enforced objectives by management. This will require some drastic changes in either management attitude or personnel.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
