I worked at Eurotech full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great small company atmosphere, learned a lot about the business just being an engineer.

    Cons

If you have to deal with the Huntsville office, you are doomed. The back-stabbing politics and unprofessional behavior arising from there will make your life MISERABLE. Make sure you understand entry requirements into benefit plans before going in.....

    Advice to Management

Hire a strong VP of Engineering to rein in the processes, improve Quality, create a strong product roadmap and control Huntsville.

  2. They have no respect for their workforce or their customers. Stay away!

    Pros

There really are no pros. This place is awful. Do not work here unless you are desparate.

    Cons

There is no job security, about 3 percent of the workforce is laid off each month and their positions are not being replaced. The compensation is below average and raises are not given. The paid time off is below average, if you are even lucky enough to take considering you are overworked. Expect to work 60 hours a week but have your paid time off, which is already comparable to the paid time off Mcdonalds employees ger, docked if you need to leave for an hour one day. There is no 401k match and the healthcare covers nothing. I can confirm what the other posted said that multiple customers are either suing or about to sue. This is because as a result of such high workforce turnover, the company does not have the resources to support contracts with customers.

    Advice to Management

I don't know what you can do. I think you are past the point that the company can be saved, I think your talent has left due to being neglected and you loss contracts as a result of losing that talent. And as a result of losing those contracts, you can't afford talent. It's a vicious cycle. My advice to you would be update your resumes and hope future employers don't look at your work history at Eurotech, because Eurotech is going under.

I worked at Eurotech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some good people in the trenches trying to make it work.

    Cons

Very poor management. There is a reorg every other month, the company has an attrition rate that is very high, no/little quality, multiple law suits or threatened law suits by customers, using substandard vendors for delivered product, over-worked people because of a complete lack of resources, management favoritisms. There are executive management personnel located in Italy and England, that think they understand what they are doing. However based upon the last three years of overall business performance, that could be challenged, no raises, poor competitive compensation.

    Advice to Management

Complete over haul of management and approach to the business.

I worked at Eurotech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some great people and customers to work with. Good work/life balance and flexible scheduling.

    Cons

Didn't always get the support of management to go after business which required some customization. Some of the processor modules and technology getting stale.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Eurotech full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some colleagues are really great and industries you have the chance to work for are very interesting.

    Cons

Top management seems to be made by yes-men, more focused on short-term strategy to keep being in control of their own "garden" rather than working for the good sake of the company In spite of naming itself a multinational company, chances to cooperate with fellow workers abroad are rare and there are no chances to have work experiences in other countries' offices. It is hard to understand the company's strategy and trust in managers' words.

    Advice to Management

Decide what you want to do with the company's market and get rid of the bunch of yes-men
