    Not as per expectations

Group Manager (Current Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

ProsLaid back work culture. You can delay your work as much as you can. Good company for female employees. they can do whatever they want, but if you are a male, then beware, one small mistake and you are slaughtered.

ConsLots of favoritism, if you are not in good books and not good at flattering then you will have a tough time. lots of things to adhere to, no freedom whatsoever, it seems that you are in a concentration camp rather than in a healthy work environment. Guys, they force you to wear tie, so you feel total subordination. They don't trust their employees, you are being frisked while coming in and going out. There are no dustbins near your desk and you can't even have coffee while working. Security will stop you from taking coffee cups inside the office.
Even the CEO doesn't knows how to communicate. His email reeks strict directives rather than inclusive participation.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive employees some freedom, they are all educated and respectful people not sweat shop workers. Bring in some equity in terms of pay, consider employee benefits, you guys totally suck on that. Chuck out incompetent employees, revamp your appraisal and pay system, they are no in line with standard industry practices. If you cant do it, let me do it.

Great experience working with really motivated and intelligent people

Research Lead - Financial Services (Former Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

Pros1) Front end role and direct interaction with clients
    2) People in senior management are very accessible. The AVP decided that he doesn't want to sit in a room alone and used to sit right in the bay with all of us.
    3) Opportunities to travel onsite (especially middle east if you are in financial services)
    4) Very good training - both soft skills and financial trainings
    5) Young and enthusiastic work force,

Cons1) Some verticals are extremely tenuous and work life balance is hard to achieve...thank god that wasn't the case with FS.
    2) Salary is a bit on the lower side
    3) Cafeteria is incredibly bad

Advice to Senior ManagementI think there ought to be a bit more trust for the employee. Things like having to sign in and sign out every day, having to take permission before taking a print, can be a bit frustrating.

Great place to start a career.

Manager (Research Lead) (Current Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

Pros+ Excellent career opportunities. Responsibilities and Role tends to grow well with time.
+ Great place to develop business intuition, especially after college.

Cons- Senior management is very poor and chasing illusions all the time. There were three major reorganizations in a span of two years.
    - You cant survive without a godfather or godmother in the firm. This makes compensation and growth very non-uniform across the organization.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
