I worked at Evercare full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Allows for chance to understand the Evercare model, work for a group that has some name recognition in the industry

    Cons

Management tends to have favorites, promotes people who do not seem qualified or team players. Talented staff have left the company due to this issue

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Understand your personnel and be aware of how they interact with peers prior to promoting. Find a better means to connect with staff not located in the corporate office

Current Employee - Nurse Practitioner in Phoenix, AZ

I have been working at Evercare

    Pros

Flexible schedule, reasonable pay, cell allowance provided as well as laptop/printer. The ability to be autonomous, work with different doctors--some of which are great! Developing relationships with facilities and staff.

    Cons

Communication within the organization is not the best. Too many changes too often in terms of programs, expectations, focus projects. Not enough comraderie between NPs, working alone and not seeing colleagues enough to exchange ideas, provide support to each other.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve communication and provide more opportunities for employees to feel appreciated. When there is a change, such as a lay-off, make sure it is known to all colleagues and encourage participation in the solutions to problems.
