    Pros

They sure paid well...but they sure screwed it up didn't they?

    Cons

Shady people running a shady business. Essentially anything and everything that is wrong with for-profit education was shoehorned into this company

I have been working at Everest College part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Work from home, flexible work hours

    Cons

Most instructors are hired as adjuncts which does create a stable and consistent work environment. Only good for extra income. Low pay.

I worked at Everest College full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good pay, vacation, benefits. The staff at the campus where I worked really cared about the students.

    Cons

Corporate is disconnected from their campuses, stuck in their ways and doesn't listen to suggestions from their campus employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Corporate needs to actively listen to ways to innovate their brand from the staff that knows what it would take to do so.

I worked at Everest College full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Excellent benefits, excellent people. The education staff is stable and very caring. Chairpeople work very hard every single day to ensure students have 100% opportunity to succeed. This campus has earned Parthenon status, a recognition of excellence within the company. Both upstairs and downstairs people work tirelessly to stay on that level.

    Cons

In my five-plus years, we went through a lot of deans. This is not a negative reflection on the school necessarily, but I can think of at least five. The newest one starts at the end of May 2014.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work. You give your best every day and it shows.

    I worked at Everest College

    Pros

The overall mission of the school is admirable and can be seen at the corporate level. They provide adequate training and compensation was very adequate.

    Cons

The company loses it's identity at the local level. Locally, it becomes all about the bottom line and in doing so the local campus I worked for at the time set itself up for failure in the end. At the local level the values were lost to the dollar.

I have been working at Everest College full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Everest College offers nice medical, dental, and 401k benefits as well 2 weeks paid vacation and sick pay. This job requires you helping others which can be very rewarding.

    Cons

High turnover in most campuses management which leads to poorly managed schools that adversely effects both the employees and students.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer better training to staff which will in turn help employees offer better help to students but unfortunately this company only cares about numbers and dollar signs. No wonder they are under investigation and scrutiny in congress.
