Pros
Exciting and challenging work - work is highly strategic and analytical in nature with extensive exposure to the top management of clients even at junior levels, great leaders who act as role models - the senior management is the best I have seen in any firm (particularly of this size), very close knit and familial work culture, yet the work ethic is more professional than I have seen in most other consulting firms. Compensation at the top rung of management consulting firms.
Cons
Long work hours, work-life balance is sometimes difficult to maintain. Almost an unknown employer brand in some geographies. Firm might face competitive challenges as it increasingly goes head-on against the top-tier of well branded management consulting firms (such as McKinsey, Bain, Booz etc.) in a number of engagements / BD opportunities.
Advice to Senior Management
Important to communicate more with employees, and in greater detail / more periodically on where the firm is headed. Important to build a more globally integrated firm. Important to invest more in building the firm's brand globally.
