    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pick up your game and surround yourself with talent. 5 years on the job doesn't mean you have 5 years of experience. Keep your head up with the changing environment or get left behind. It's not too late to start winning but you need to start today.

Current Employee - Program Lead in Remote, OR

    Pros

It is so wonderful to work from home, I love that part. I love teaching and seeing people who really want to learn and succeed. It is even more satisfying to help someone who is struggling with a subject, but then see them succeed through sheer determination. The pay is very fair I think, considering the payback and freedom I get from working remotely. If needed, I can easily work from my phone, for example, if I have errands to run.

    Cons

I do agree that a lot of emphasis is put on numbers. Retention is important because this is a for profit college and enrollment keeps the doors open. The pressure put on instructors to constantly contact the students (by phone and email) is becoming overbearing to both faculty and the students.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I understand the importance of retention, but understand the current method maybe helping the numbers slightly at present, but this will soon be at the cost of loosing current employees who are getting tired of the constant "sales" pressure game. Create a department and people for retention.

    Pros

Great family based environment, if you excel, you are rewarded financially in Tempe.

    Cons

They did not get a pay raise in 2013/2014. Also Tampa is a horrid place to work. Management does not care about you in Tampa, you are but a number.
