    Pros

Evertec has a good benefits package: Health Insurance, 401k, etc. If you are passionate about volunteer work, they have many options available. The best co-workers are in this company.

    Cons

Salaries are not competitive at all, they don't make offers to keep the talent. Lack of training in some departments, pretty much have to self instruct yourself to do high risk jobs.

    Advice to Management

Raise the salaries and you'll have more motivated professionals that'll give their 100% for the company.

    Pros

Free parking for employess, free drinking water and knowledge co-workers.

    Cons

HR promote employee turnover when labor problems arise allowing managers at all levels to use discriminatory, threatening tactics to resolve.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of employess in all management positions from merged companies that occupy these positions because of tradition and previous connections. Offer them retirement packages soon. Bring in new minds non parcialized personnel to manage the company. If this practice continues it will be down hill for this company in less than a year. There has been a very high rollover new employee rate in all areas because of this culture.

    Pros

One of the best IT companies in Puerto Rico, lots of interesting and engaging projects to be part of. They offer very good benefits (401K, health insurance, performance bonus). During the time I worked there I had the chance to participate in their work-from-home program, which was a good 'pro' for my work-life balance. The best memory I have of this company is its people, its employees definitely make this company a fun place to work.

    Cons

Professional growth in terms of promotions takes too long to achieve and be ready to stay with your same salary for quite some time. Salaries are not up to average.

    Advice to Management

There should be more focus in professional growth. More training opportunities as well as better chances to engage in different projects, move between the different groups. Salaries should be brought up to this century.

    Pros

Benefits are good, including paid holidays. Easy to excel, since majority of employees lack the acumen needed to do an average job in their respective roles. It's an ideal workplace for career building, but after 3-4 years you need to move out.

    Cons

Cons outmatch Pros in all areas with the exception of benefits. Salaries are mediocre, but this is no surprise since EVERTEC traces back to Banco Popular.

Common departments (HR & Marketing) lack solid leadership and competent personnel. There are no Career Development Programs for employees (some employees have had the same role for over 20 years). Ironically, EVERTEC uses old technology to support basis business needs.

There is no Strategic foundation in the company, which creates disruption in you every day work.An average employee will spend most of his time solving last minute problems, which comes as an effect of not having a formal strategic plan.

    Advice to Management

    Raise salaries
Develop a solid Career Development Program
Invest in your people (trainings, conferences, etc), remember they are your biggest asset
Re-design the whole marketing strategy around ATH, consider having another leader since the brand has not seen any significant changes in the past 20 years (even the loga is the same, which looks outdated since 2001).

    Pros

it has a good work environment, the co workers are great and a good place to learn on the go about handling Huge datasets.

    Cons

long hours, administration always wants evrything by yesterday, employee compesations for their work is non existant, salary is laughably not to market value of employees

    Advice to Management

would be great if they took the time to compensate the long hours and to keep their employees happy, training on new technologies would be great and to better evaluate the delivery time to clients.
