    Pros

    The people there are great...aside from the CEO. They have the awareness to follow negative reviews with fake positive ones from current employees to push this one down.

    Cons

    The CEO is a control freak. He's condescending, narcissistic and egotistical. He has no regard for the overall happiness of his employees and does not believe in career advancement in anyway.

    Advice to Management

    Exagrid would be a great place without Bill.

    Pros

    Great products and support. Highly differentiated offering in the market. Customers and partners take very well to the story. Steady growth. Very solid comp package. Open lines of communication, all the way to the top. Executive and regional leadership is very fair, knowledgeable, extremely passionate, and well seasoned in the industry.

    Advice to Management

    Stay the course, continue to invest in sales related resources to help accelerate growth. Consider expanding strategic alliances relationship with other complimentary industry leaders.

    Pros

    Great sales team. Highly differentiated product message. Easily understood value prop to customers and prospects. ExaGrid support is the single best team I've ever seen in my 15+years selling. Great work/life balance.

    Cons

    Wish there were rewards for hitting quota. No Presidents club. No sales kick off. Would like annual meeting to interact with my teammates.

    Pros

    The pay was excellent while working with some of the brightest people around. A lot was done with little wasted effort - very focused. A very large customer base was created due to the ease of installation and effectiveness of the backup appliance product.

    Cons

    Older building, cubicles, environment - this is an old office building with added on AC that marginally cools the labs.

    Advice to Management

    It would be nice to move to a newer building with real labs if possible. Keep improving the product based on careful attention to changing customer requirements.

    Pros

    Very good product that does what it claims to do. Better with each release. Technically deep company, well managed and well run. Sales, engineering, and support work well together, towards the same goals. The company has good prospects going forward.

    Cons

    Initial comp is fair; follow-on raises (twelve month) are disappointing, far less then competition or even inflation.

    Advice to Management

    Steady on the business plan as constituted; recognize and compensate employees for hard work and success.

    Pros

    ExaGrid really values their customers, and it shows with the emphasis on excellent support. Work is technically interesting, and there's always something new to learn.

    Pros

    ExaGrid is a great company to work for. Management encourages employees to bring out the best in themselves to achieve success, both personally and professionally. Passion for the product is great, espacially as it continues to evolve.

    Pros

    ExaGrid has a good product that is quickly becoming great. The past few iterations of code have really put things in a position to provide it's customers with a solid and well performing backup appliance. This in turn has allowed the employees to grow, learn and be very proactive with the customer base. All in all, ExaGrid compensates it's employees fairly for work performed and has an extremely desirable benefits package that rivals that of even large corporations.

    Cons

    As with any growing company, ExaGrid is not without some pain points. A very broad knowledge base is required in order to function on a daily basis and there is a lack of internal documentation. The company physical location has limited access in and out a more liberal remote work policy certainly would be helpful in maintaining a more complete work / life balance.

    Pros

    Great people to work with, convenient location (nice office park), and decent pay. Busy enough to make your day go by quickly! Decent medical and dental insurance and stock options, non matching 401K.

    Cons

    No cafeteria in our building (have to walk next door to adjacent building). Quarter end can be a little stressful at times. Don't expect to take any vacation time near year end.

    Advice to Management

    A holiday party would be good to have.
