    Some days you will work long hours, a few departments are understaffed. and some of the equipment is outdated.

    Pros

    Great place to work with many opportunities. Staff is very friendly and work is fun and interesting. Great advancement opportunities.

    Cons

    With so many employees, it is easy to feel lost and unaccounted for. Still, your work is appreciated and direct management does notice.

    Pros

    Pay, prestige of working for the USAO, training opportunities, the National Advocacy Center (NAC), lateral and promotion opportunities within the Department of Justice, and the opportunity to meet some really smart individuals

    Cons

    Inability of management to make decisions, quality of worklife balance, not having a telecommuting policy in place, lack of promotion opportunities for non-attorney employees, inconsistency in policy, lack of managerial diversity, and frequent managerial turnover

    Advice to Management

    Increase the flow of communication between management and the support staff so they feel informed and valued, and create a Diversity policy.
