    I worked at Exigen Services

    Pros

Many smart people, not the least the new management. Strong personnel in Baltics and Russia.

    Cons

Limited market awareness and reputation. A habit of putting "the B team" on key accounts and then working furiously to save them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop trying to claim to be the smartest people in the room. Concentrate on being the best partner your client can get. Build that reputation first, then people will think you're more than smart enough.

    I worked at Exigen Services

    Pros

Exigen has a laid back easygoing environment and has decent salary and benefits. The vacation allocation is minimal but the holidays are generous.

    Cons

You have to know someone to get a job. There is no clarity on what your job entails. There is no measure for success. Everything is based on who you know. The mission of the firm and your position is never communicated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a clear idea of what you would like to accomplish and communicate that to employees and customers. Provide a career path for employees.

    I worked at Exigen Services

    Pros

Depending on your team leader (I was lucky), work-life balance can be pretty great: I was able to work from home most of the time and switch my workload hours as much as I wanted. Great for students!

You get acess to company library, health insurance (free lenses/glasses a year, gym), some training courses, but they are kinda lame.

    Cons

Salary is not competitive at all

I worked at Exigen Services full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I worked at Exigen on their insurance projects for about a year and I liked the process side of things. They're using Scrum, everything is organized in a proper way, there are a lot of excellent business analysts at Exigen, so requirements are good. The product (EIS) is extremely complicated and technology stack is very diverse, so I actually learned a lot from working with it.

    Cons

Working with Exigen Services means extending EIS, which is a base product created by a different company in the same group. This means that you are very limited in what you can do by what EIS platform actually offers. The contact with EIS is terrible, so you end up implementing all kinds of bizarre workarounds because getting them actually fix something is hopeless. Also, Exigen is not doing too well from business perspective, they failed to build any long-term relationship with their clients in insurance business, so even delays in salary are not uncommon.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Admit that you're a startup and not yet an established company. Be more flexible and client-oriented.
