    Pros

    Initial training of two months of fresher on SAS and excel.Now they are about to introduce training on Domain based like banking. Perks and bonuses are good. Flexibe working hour

    Cons

    If stuck in reporting kind of role,its very difficult to come out. Project change request are very rarely considered,as a result learning stops after some time

    Company is getting bigger. Individual are lost and forgotten. Create some platforms where individual can show their strengths

    Pros

    The compensation, if you're working in the DA department, is quite good if you factor in the usual benefits.

    Cons

    Non existent work life balance. The work culture is frustrating, you're expected to low quality work in high volumes. There is no regard for personal growth. Diversity is horrible. Training programs don't exist. Cross firm knowledge sharing never happens. Idiotic senior management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Saving on margins is great for the next quarter, but really bad for the next quarter two years hence. Pay attention to increasing the quality of people employed.

    The benefits are so much better than most companies for entry level. Very relaxed environment, easy to reach top management.

    Cons

    The actually job is boring, I don't really get to talk to anyone all day.

    My best reason for working here is the compensation from EXL.

    Some of the challanges working here are communication, department duties, and vendor relations.

    Pros

    - Good working environment
    - Good supporting team
    - In the company standpoint, it has lot of services orders.

    Cons

    - Work overload during last 3 months of every year
    - Worst transport service
    - Worst performance rating methods, worse incentives and salary hikes
    The company usually manages its work by normal office hours of the employees but the volume of work will peak in the last October to December of months of every year. Though the managers know about the overload every year they don't plan or take any necessary measures. But they will overload the employees and tell them to work 12 hours a day including Saturdays. And this really affects the employees personal life as well as their mental and physical health. They are not in a position to complain this as they fear it will affect their appraisal.
    Managers could have easily managed the situation by posting temporary contract employees which can be hired easily. But they blame that employees are not performing well!!
    Company doesn't drop its staff at their home in latenight, but only at nearest main road. Employees especially lady staff has to walk from the Main road to their home. They use large vehicles to drop in the night. They could have used medium vehicles like Innova, Tavera etc as most of the Bangalore BPOs use that. Now the employees reach at their home after 2 hours even for a distance of 15-25 Km!! that too in the small city like Cochin!!
    Performance ratings mainly consider the employees' willingness to work on overtime and holidays.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Hire temporary staff on contract for the last 3 months of every year to manage the peak workload.
    - Do not blame employees for not finishing the peak workload.
    - Arrange good transport. Provide medium vehicles, Let the employees reach their home early atleast in a 30-40 minutes time. Dont let them walk in the latenight.
    - Willingness to work on OT for 12 hours and weekend cannot be considered as a main performance indication.

    1.flexible timing.
    2.few good colleagues who want to help you out.

    Cons

    1.No good challenging projects other than banking domain. So very few productive work.
    2.One can learn very few big data software here. So learning purpose is also not fulfilled.
    3. Pay package is comparatively lower than other companies for the same post.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to understand the interest of the talent pool you are accumulating each year. Don't just distribute them randomly. Rather try to figure out in which domain they are interested in. So to ensure more productive output and lesser attrition rate.
