    Avoid Risk Management/Insurance Department

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsCurrently have several open positions. (one might ask why)

ConsSome say management is cleaning house. Some say it's border line age discrimnation and other say its just poor leadership. If you are not part of the boys club you won't last long.

Advice to Senior ManagementHouse cleaning needs to start with head management or lack there of, or things will NEVER change. You can fire people and the smart ones move on but at the end of the day you are the one left with egg on your face and down another "GOOD" employee. Down seven people in the last six months, doesn't that raise a flag?

    OK Place to Start.

    Sales Representative (Former Employee)

ProsManagement involves everyone and benefits are great.

ConsPay is very low compared to competitors, there is some incentive to work for department bonuses but these are typically reserved for product supervisors and managers. Lower level employees will be worked to death. Sales force lacks major incentives and it becomes more and more difficult in sales to continue to make decent money the longer you are there.

Advice to Senior ManagementIncentive sales team better.

The people are great. Everyone is nice and willing to chip in on team projects.
Great benefits- insurance, employee stock program, etc...

ConsExtremely low salaries for the industry.
    Strict environment--not for everyone.
    Disconnect between management and employees.
Limited on what markets they can effectively service.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo not overwork employees and reward success instead of ignoring it.

    Great people

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Peabody, MA

ProsThe people are nice and friendly. Especially non management personnel. Some of the management will listen to ideas and take an interest in their employees.

ConsSome of the management does not take an interest in its personnel. They concern themselves with meeting goals and making a profit.

Right for me, but not for everyone.

Information Services (Current Employee) Seattle, WA

ProsBenefits (bus pass, medical insurance premiums are 100% paid for family)
If you work for the right management chain, you can be happy.
Company is stable, profitable and secure.
    Senior management is trustworthy.
Growth is yours to seek and earn if you're motivated.

ConsThe biggest con is that everyone's experience greatly differs.
-There is no consistency from group to group (Information Services) or manager to manager. -There are some managers and senior managers who have no business being in the role they're in.
-Teams pick up other teams' slack even if it's not their discipline.

Advice to Senior ManagementIS Senior Management - evaluate your delegates and ask yourself if they are the right people for the job. What do your employees think of the people they work for? Find out. Act accordingly.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
