    Pros

Really awesome work environment, it is what you make it. You can keep to yourself or you can make an effort to meet people, which is very easy here.

    Cons

On the lower end of the spectrum in terms of pay in the industry.

I have been working at Experian Marketing Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Decent work/life balance. -Great Camaraderie among the staff. -Good relationship between technology and business. -Teams who are below management are quite proficient at what they do. -Great offsite company events - very social!

    Cons

-Heavy turnaround among the best. -Management of Technology Teams under qualified for what they do. -Massive chip on shoulder among the teams from days gone by.

    Advice to Management

Get off of your high-horse and spend some time among the ranks. At the very least, hire a platform engineer (aka architect) to shape the platform to where it needs to be. Solicit the thoughts and considerations of your most experienced team members before they decide to leave.

    Pros

Most sales roles are allowed to work remotely. Tons of autonomy. Undisputed market leader when it comes to data. Uncapped commissions. Matching 401K, great company stock plan, full benefits.

    Cons

Constant re-orgs and lots of travel - not much else to complain about.

    Advice to Management

Focusing a bit more on lead gen activities could go a long way. Re-install incentives for collaboration across business lines.

I have been working at Experian Marketing Services full-time

    Pros

Exposure to data driven marketing Opportunity to work with big brands Flexible schedule Free bagel Wednesdays/ happy hours and employee outings

    Cons

A lot of changes but with the recent explanations and vision around the Marketing Suite these changes make more sense. For those on the frontlines in client services, we need better leadership. The exposure to senior management has been welcomed and applauded; however, we need our day to day management to be more involved and proactively communicating important aspects to the marketing suite.

    Advice to Management

For senior management, continue the path you are on. The latest employee meetings/celebrations for the Marketing Suite were a nice surprise and got your employees excited again. Make sure the management levels below are following your lead.

    Pros

Great team of people. Lots of social events, on the company dime, which are fun. Flexible work from home.

    Cons

It's a "matrixed" environment so, dealing with a lot of different groups to get your job done. Some are great, some aren't.

    Advice to Management

Continue to reward high contributors and promote from within.

I worked at Experian Marketing Services full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good employee culture with smart people, lots of perks with breakfasts, internal and external training, and good vacation policy. Bright future for the company if it's managed effectively. Plan seems good if it can be executed correctly.

    Cons

Lack of clear direction from management and changing priorities. Bureaucracy strangles innovation and slow moving product updates frustrate employees and clients alike. Many changes over the past year have caused a lot of turnover.

    Advice to Management

Provide clear goals and company plans. Get rid of road blocks and let employees drive innovation. Stop using people to fix the problem and invest in infrastructure and better technology.

    Pros

There is a camaraderie of sorts among client services that can be pretty impelling. There's still a deep pool of knowledge and a strong drive go above and beyond to provide excellent service to our clients. Experian offers opportunities for those looking for them.

    Cons

2014 was difficult as there was a lot of internal organizational restructuring that led to significant layoffs of the North American client services workforce. Change was fairly constant and decisions made by senior management seemed myopic at times.
