Former Employee – worked at Experian QAS full-time for less than a year
Pros – Great team-oriented environment. The importance of playing hard wasn't just lip service, these guys love to have fun-- but, of course, working smart and getting the job done is just as important. There was a ton of room for advancement, and hard work was recognized regularly.
Cons – None! Loved my time here.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Experian QAS full-time for less than a year
Pros – Good people, good product, awesome Dev team and sales engineers
Cons – Some middle management is too busy to bother with the younger sales associates
Advice to Senior Management – Spend more time with your younger sales associates or find someone to train them properly

Current Employee – been working at Experian QAS full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – A meritocracy with very little red tape. Sr. Management has a true open door policy and is extremely approachable. Lot’s of opportunity to grow your career. Hard work is rewarded by career advancement/responsibility well beyond what you’ll find in the open market. A strong social culture that has grown to accommodate a diverse workforce in recent years (more flexibility, heavy investment in charities/support employees taking time to volunteer, company sponsored outings/events). Great benefits.
Cons – If you come in looking for a 9-5 to pass the time and don’t understand what you are signing up for (which many of the other cons listed tend to hint at), there are likely many negatives you can highlight. If you are looking for a challenging position that can be a vehicle for professional career growth, the few cons are minor compared to the positives.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to push innovation as a priority and entrust middle management with more control.

Former Employee – worked at Experian QAS full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – You get back what you put in. Work hard, be accountable and be open to learning from the people around you. In return, the company will invest in you with new challenges, opportunities, a fun working environment and a solid professional network. This is a very metric, process driven organization which is a great experience for people who are looking to build a solid foundation in business and working with others.
Cons – Although it's gradually improved over the past few years, it is still a sales-driven company with aggressive tactics. Compensation is average. Flexibility has improved but varies by team and manager.
Advice to Senior Management – Don't be afraid to take risks.

Former Employee – worked at Experian QAS full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – You got what you put in and I didn't personally see any favoritism. Very open management team who responded to feedback and was willing to answer tough questions. They sought to better the employee's experience within the constraints of corporate parent. Greatly improved flexibility over my last two years there. After proving yourself there is good upwards and sideways mobility. Lots of change and variety in projects. Good inter-departmental relationships on the whole.
Cons – High expectations for everyone meant the work atmosphere could be quite intense at times. Management style can seem draconian depending on your role/tenure which can grate with some people (it didn't me as I had 'grown up' with it). Salary only competitive to a point and past that raises for non-management track took a lot of convincing.
Advice to Senior Management – Keeping pushing to invest in the Product, retaining key staff and dialing up the focus on customer success/net promoter score.

Pros – Decent commission structure, proven contributors are free to transfer between offices (Bo's,NYC, SF, Uk)
Cons – Churn and burn, what have you done for me lately. Boston office is super clicky and high school like

Former Employee – worked at Experian QAS full-time for less than a year
Pros – Good base and commission structure, good benefits. Free beer on Fridays.
Cons – Garbage software, toxic frat-boy culture, micro-management, 100% sales oriented culture to the point where the product itself is almost irrelevant. Travel requirements are significantly underestimated, plan on spending nearly half of the month on the road.
Advice to Senior Management – Develop, trust, compensate. Culture of fear and mistrust won't produce lasting results or a satisfied work force

Former Employee – worked at Experian QAS full-time for more than a year
Pros – Downtown location
Some good non-manager employees
Cons – Every department is run like sales with established unrealistic quotas. Most are managed by people with no relevant experience that do not know what is required to get your work done.
There are no industry processes in place. Managers are mostly QASers promoted from within that have no idea how other companies operate.
The pay is below standard. They'll tell you if you work hard you can move up, but I have not seen non-sales people move up high at all.
As far as sales, you are there to support them. So if you get a great lead, or walk the prospect through to closing, be ready to see that sales person get the commission, the glory, and party it up in Vegas on the incentive company paid trip. Again, if not in sales, you get none of these benefits.
If all the sales people are out in Vegas and on other company sponsored events for three weeks of a month, the sales numbers dip. When that happens, management's corrective action is to put a hiring freeze and take away tuition reimbursement.
So if you are in sales, or starting right out of school, or wanting to go out most nights a week, this place should work. If you, though, have some experience, it's not worth it.
Advice to Senior Management – Get some MBA trained, industry experienced managers.

Current Employee – been working at Experian QAS full-time for less than a year
Pros – Exposure to the normal side of the Experian business.
Cons – The management team is completely incompetent.
Don't work for this company. If you are starting your career they will not guide you correctly; if you are experienced they will ruin your career. QAS has an extremely, extremely BAD reputation in the industry.
Avoid this organization. There are like 20 similar companies in Boston that are better.
And they wonder why the burnout / churn is like 60%?
Advice to Senior Management – This is my third rewrite of the glassdoor review.
My advice is to provide a stable workplace, which is something that you obviously don't do as the sales churn is 60% +
