I have been working at Experian full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Quality people and culture. Decent salaries plus competitive performance bonuses. Acceptable work / life balance. Strong benefits package. The company does a high level of community outreach and philanthropic work.

    Cons

Recent changes and management and market conditions have affected stability. Company suffers from process paralysis. Annual bonuses were not given this year which has affected morale. I have little confidence in the leadership abilities of several mid-level VPs.

I worked at Experian full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Fast pace, good for gaining experience. Training opportunities are there but it depends on which department or group you belong to.

    Cons

Too much focus on bringing new revenue and almost no focus on retaining current customers. Quality of work suffers because of focus on speed.

I have been working at Experian

    Pros

About the only pro is compensation

    Cons

Experian has become a very negative environment where issues greatly overshadow accomplishments. The management of the company seems to turn a blind eye to the reality of poor decisions and negative reinforcement towards its workforce. Because of this the attrition rate has gone up considerably, moral is at an all time low, and productivity is clearly suffering.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Time to pick up the pace and not make the employees pay for executive mistakes. You need to seriously consider taking a step back and figuring out how to keep those that are exceptional and get rid of those that are dead weight.

I have been working at Experian full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great support & teamwork from fellow co-workers. Great products available for clients.

    Cons

Mismanaged. Head of division was never around for very long so different management styles. Constantly changing culture of a lot of management, then trim the management, then back to adding a management. Yearly layoffs.

    I worked at Experian

    Pros

MOST of the people are good. Get way more money coming from other companies than the poor souls who suck it up and stay do.

    Cons

Associate directors don't do anything! Huge layoffs, keeping the less paid people all of which who got crap raises which didn't equal what experienced employees (who were laid off) made, and have absolutely no skills or common sense. Bad move.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut your own salaries, trim your own fat. You clearly don't know what your doing, let's outsource our positions to another country who fully can't speak English!!!
