    Pros

PTO is generous if you can last long enough but they thin the heard quite frequently

    Cons

The review process has forced rankings that are not administered with HR oversight. Rankings do notatch write ups

    Advice to Management

Lower the goal of having 60% EE's and 40% off shore consultants '

    Pros

Good PTO policy. Coworkers are good.

    Cons

Pay is not competitive. No upward mobility. Management eliminates good jobs when people leave and delegates their duties to remaining employees, or hires a temp. People are leaving because they are stck in dead end jobs. They are overworked.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to survey comments. Recent companywide emails indicate that you are finally listening and get that nobody is happy here. Will you actually DO anything to change our current situation? Or will the stock buybacks continue (artificially inflating the value of stock, increasing YOUR bonus) rather than investing in your employees, who do all the work?

    Pros

While working there I enjoyed my work tremendously.

    Cons

In 2013 walked into our site and let go around 200 employees. During the following year continued lay offs while ensuring those remaining that the site would not be closed. In 2014 we were given our warning notice and the site closed in June of 2014.

    Pros

Good people in all divisions and levels who do care and work hard. Bonus decent dependent on where you fall. Stock good if you get it. PTO decent

    Cons

Benefits, holidays stingy and geared to a manufacturing environment. Culture of fear, punishment and politics of who you know, what location you work. Want inexperienced and obedient folks who question nothing and do meaningless projects. Who you have favor with is all that matters but no real loyalty except for a few. Efforts to suggest interest in change like surveys and rewards are superficial and insignificant to the larger issues. Not really interested in honest feedback so people don't speak the truth

    Advice to Management

Paz appears a nice man but time to move on. Kick HR to the curb as they have not served you and are not held accountable for the awful culture and morale that continues. LIVE your values and employees will know when you do.

    Pros

They do allow virtual offices, which is a plus for someone who doesn't like office living. ESI does not require a lot of travel, unless you're client facing. In that case, travel may be anywhere from 10-30% depending upon the client.

    Cons

It's a club - and you're either in it, or not. Over the years, I have found that the opportunities are good, but not always accessible to everyone. Management tended to keep those close to them that were friends - others were hard pressed to find a true direction. I enjoyed my time at ESI tremendously - but all I can say is that CYA is the mantra.

    Advice to Management

Take away the horrific peer reviews and put in true reviews - get rid of the bell curve - get rid of the idea that the company is a team until bonus time. Find ways to allow people to thrive instead of living in a fishbowl of tension.

    Pros

Good pay, double time and a half during high volume, good benefits, great management-employee relationship. I had no problem communicating with my supervisor, trainer, manager, human resources, etc. Cafeteria had Starbucks coffee, opportunity for advancement. My schedule was perfect, 11AM-8:30PM M-F, paid holidays. You had to choose what you wanted your schedule to be, greatest to least. People who had worked there longer had first choices.

    Cons

When I worked there, they changed it to where you were either on calls for most or half the shift, or on faxes. I was easily bored as I was assigned to be on calls most of my shifts unless my supervisor allowed me to switch to faxes. Call volume was low a lot of the time.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing :)
