“Good pay but lack of promoton opportunity!”

Pros

Good benefit, job security, good brand name, I guess if you are engineer or geologist, that's a good company to start with.

Cons

You will never get promoted if you can't make yourself the "chosen" one within 3 years. Very political, process driven, lots of "loyal" employees and the only thing they know is "cover your ass".

Advice to Senior Management

Top down communication need to be better channeled. The company is too slow. Need to change the organisational structure to get rid of all those hierachical barriers. No incentive for young employees as promotion takes forever.
