    Pros

Sense of community and culture of "giving back". Company provides fun experiences for employees on a regular basis. Sunglass sales occurs several times per year to benefit the OneSight Foundation and you can always find at least one great deal. Good benefits.

    Cons

Company Leadership says they are transparent but not always. Individual business units don't always communicate with each other well, so often times duplication of efforts or conflicting efforts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Good group of employees. Knowledgeable and committed to doing a good job.

    Cons

Leadership does not share info but expects all to fall in line with their way of doing things - "our way or highway".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Step back and let some employees do their job. Without true leadership don't expect others to follow.

    Pros

They hire good people ... who end up leaving. At least they see the value in talent, but don't know how to keep it.

    Cons

They are nothing more than a funnel for their retail stores (LensCrafters, Perle, Sears Optical and Target Optical).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do you want to be in insurance or retail?? You're not doing either well.
