    Pros

EyeWonder had the best of both worlds. Extremely cutting edge technology with the mentality of the entertainment industry. All employees were allowed to flourish and find their strengths and play to them

    Cons

The corporate idiots thought they could improve on perfect by promoting inexperienced, unprofessional managers.

    Advice to Management

They should have rewarded performance and not ass kissing.

I have been working at EyeWonder full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great innovative company with competitive benefits and growth. There are many moving pieces within the company so it is easy to find an area and advance within it. The company also has a great culture despite some of the negativity produced from recent acquisitions.

    Cons

Middle management is inexperienced and short sighted. It makes being productive and pushing new ideas and products through the company nearly impossible. Poor choices were made on Director level managers based on personal relationships rather than skill or experience.

    Advice to Management

Don't put people right out of college into Director positions.

    Pros

EyeWonder gets technology and service -- they promote building the best technology to solve the company's problems and have an amazing service organization to back it up.

    Cons

MediaMind merger has resulted in layoffs in technology -- and no good picture about whether MediaMind will keep EyeWonder's DNA.

    Advice to Management

My advice to EyeWonder's management: there's been some things you could of done better. My advice to MediaMind management: adopt the EyeWonder culture / DNA. It'd be a great loss to the industry if you lose it.

    Pros

It is a very relaxed atmosphere and generally quite flexible. The majority of the people we work with are great folks. The benefits are outstanding, certainly better than anywhere else I have been. My direct boss is quite pleasant and easy to get along with.

    Cons

Some of the management in this company do not fully recognize their position. Meaning they either have no clue as to their role, or take on too many roles or simply have the job because of who they VERY closely know. And, your job title can also depend on your skills in certain sports or drinking.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the importance of everyone's job as a whole.

    Decent Company...

    Pros

Relaxed atmosphere most of the time, decent benefits, laxed dress code, decent salary.

    Cons

HR is a joke, promotions are based on who you're friends with and who likes you. Many of the Directors are totally clueless and again have their jobs based on they know or who they're dating. Its kind of like the 13th and 14th grade of high school- but not quite freshman year in college. If you went to UGA or Tech, you're in the clique and you'll be set.

    Advice to Management

    Rethink your middle management team...

    Pros

You will be exposed to alot of different emerging technologies and the latest techniques. Plus there are a lot of geniuses that work here to you can collaborate with a team of experienced developer with a wealth of knowlegde.

    Cons

The stress levels are very high at times. You will have multiple campaigns all running multiple ads. You will have campaigns your working on yourself and you will also be providing support for x amount of clients all at the same time. Its not as bad nowadays since we have more developers. But the tensions can go high at times

    Advice to Management

I will say there seems to be a lack of structure and well thought out execution of organization. Mainly because there is always something that needs to be done and there generally isnt time to dedicate to really thinking things through thoroughly. However, it seems as though things will be getting a lot more structured now that we are getting more people added to our team.
