    I worked at F. C. Tucker Company full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of great people to work with; flexible time off (and good PTO offerings!); occasional free food brought in by vendors; discounts with some recommended home improvement-related businesses (e.g. roofing, chimney repair, HVAC, etc.), plus assistance with resolving any disputes

    Cons

Not a lot of upward mobility available (apart from becoming an agent); little grace for personality differences (as long as the atmosphere is professional and the work gets done, embrace it!)

    I worked at F. C. Tucker Company

    Pros

Lots of resources and tools. As an agent you have no work-life balance. Your work is your life. As an employee you have large workloads.

    Cons

Disorganized and out-dated technology. Mostly older employees that aren't in-tune with technology. You have to purchase everything yourself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more technologically advanced across all systems including daily operations.

    Front Desk Clerical Worker

    I worked at F. C. Tucker Company part-time

    Pros

The job was simple. The realtors that I worked with were very nice people. The office was generally quite on the weekend so I was able to get homework done. I liked that they gave me the responsibility of opening and closing the office.

    Cons

I didn't like that I only worked every other weekend. When I tried to get more hours they told me they were not available, this is something they probably could not control. At times a realtor would call and ask me to do something I had no idea how to do because I had never heard of it. At times they would get frustrated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More in-depth training

    I worked at F. C. Tucker Company full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

brand presence, accessible management, great training seminars available on a regular basis

    Cons

political in terms of how agents treat eachother, expensive fees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

focus more on newer agents who need guidance as it seems that they rely on their peers for help when the more experienced agents are often busy, trend towards smaller offices to lower desk fees (many agents spend more time working from home anyway)

I have been working at F. C. Tucker Company

    Pros

Mgmt style, many office locations, available managers and support staff.

    Cons

With this profession, it's all on you as an agent to survive as with other 100% commissed career. Desk and transactions fees are expensive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review commission structure to stay competitive with other RE brands in Indy.

Business model somewhat dated realtive to the new high-tech internet based real estate companies.
