    Pros

Coffee machines, free pop, Beer Fridays! Great workout area.

    Cons

Passive aggressive behavior. No straight talk. No work life balance. Worked a ton of hours. The more I worked the more work they gave me. Managers that don't know how to manage people. No people skills. Upper management hired because they have friends in the company not because they can do a good job. When they screw up, they cover for each other.

    Advice to Management

Expectations the same across all departments.

    Pros

Flexible, good workload, challenging tech, smart people, good benefits, food, kitchen, bonus plan

    Cons

Location is in a high-traffic area, not easy to get to. New workspaces are atrocious, no privacy, building is very crowded, very loud, few meeting spaces available

    Advice to Management

More flexibility is key, provide good path for promotion to employees, be competitive with salaries for long-term employees, people need some private space to work in

Company pays 100% of benefits, 4% match of 401K. It is obvious that the management team cares about retaining quality employees. From the CEO on down management is approachable and are involved in the day to day business. The overall culture of F5 is extremely positive. Employees are eager to help one another which is a sign that people are happy to be working for this company.

    Cons

The company is expanding so rapidly that there are some growing pains.

    Advice to Management

Continue treating your employees well and they will continue to pass on that positive attitude to customers.
