    Advice to Management

New management is much need , out with the old and in with the new .....

I have been working at FAMS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

career advancement, stable office with professional management team, bonuses, fun atmosphere

    Cons

some of the employees are super negative. why go through life being so miserable instead of being thankful you have a good job with a good company??????

    Advice to Management

stop trying to retain people who are cancers. You can't fix people who make it their mission to be sooooooooooo miserable. do us ALL a favor and LET THEM GO!

I worked at FAMS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Gained more work skills and knowledge

    Cons

There were many times when we were given a structured bonus but when we would earn it...the rules would change. People who were suppose to receive bonus never did. Your job was threatened on a daily basis...no room to grow...they say they promote from within but no manager there had ever been promoted from within.

    Advice to Management

Treat your team and staff like humans

I have been working at FAMS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good bonus for GA, nice location and offices. Faithful to more tenured staff. Great security and company incentives for tenured employees

    Cons

Horrible indecisive upper management, extremely rude and crass. The upper management bullies employees and had wholesale changes every week. Middle management not allowed to manage. Very little business clients and accounts are over worked or under worked. Very limited 5 minute training outside of initial onboard training. Trainers don't train other than new hire training.

    Advice to Management

People skills and decisiveness are needed. Management training is needed

    Pros

Pay is pretty good. Competitive environment enable the right type of personality to strive. Met some nice people who were my coworkers and remained friends.

    Cons

Too many politics; too little compassion from upper management including (especially) the VPs. No genuine care for the employees. Complete lack of training. Under-appreciated and overused as long as you are needed. If you don't like the idea of being cursed at and everyone looking the other way, don't consider this job.

    Advice to Management

HR needs to open their eyes to what is really happening. It can't and should not just look good on paper. It needs to transfer to actual results--authenticity is needed to transform this company. Is it okay for upper management (VPs even and especially) to look at the managers as incompetent? All of them? Really? And how does that reflect on their own performance then? Where does the direction and leadership from them become a factor? Stop the yelling. Start inspiring.Start leading.

    Pros

When i got there they made it seem like the best place to work. That is so far from the truth. They really try to make you feel appreciated but it really is false.

    Cons

People don't stay, you barley bonus, and the work enviorment sucks. They treat you like kids.

    Advice to Management

Yall need to get it together.... The morale is the pits

I worked at FAMS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Interview process was warm, and appeared genial and legitimate. Human Resources Recruiter was friendly and hired on the spot. The full week of training was secluded from the rest of the company, and involved 10 other new-hires. Was a fun atmosphere...unfortunately that was the end of the honeymoon.

    Cons

The call center floor was an absolute nightmare, from the first day we were allowed to go out until the day I quite. Employees receive 2 scheduled bathroom breaks that are 5 minutes each. For clocking in and out for lunch and end of day, employees are herded like cattle and told that if they go over their allotted 40 hrs per week, they will be penalized for stealing from the company. Unit managers often yelled at rows of cubicles to keep employees in check. And the EMPLOYEES...worst group of people I've ever worked with. Females wore 10 in stilettos, weave to their ankles, huge hoop earrings, and see-thru shirts (it was as if they had just finished a shift at Magic Mike's). The men wore sagging pants, had huge earrings in their ears, smelled of weed, and cussed like sailors. And these were men and women from SEVERAL ethnicities. The most ghetto-fabulous establishment I've ever seen, like they recruited from a prison exchange program.
