    Pros

Open Culture. Learning Driven. Plenty of chances to do well and have fun if you are willing to work.

    Cons

Competitive. Can be difficult to succeed if you are just looking to scrape by.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the forward progress.

    Pros

Good people to work with, great benefits, open door policy with management

    Cons

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of strategic direction, there was not a lot of opportunity for professional growth, and for a metrics driven company, there are a lot of people there who get by on doing the bare minimum amount of work

Everything is a con here especially the management team.

    Advice to Management

Destroy the entire management plan and start over.

    Pros

Small company, nice people, nice location

    Cons

Incompetent management, business processes all over the place

    Advice to Management

Listen and connect with employees. They aren't your children and shouldn't be treated as such.

  6. Helpful (2)

Shocking C-level incompetence. No direction. Drastically-weakened middle management. Morale down, everyone scared.

    Pros

Strong HR department in terms of employee benefits. Automatic 401k enrollment. Holidays are celebrated openly. I feel like middle management (those few that are left) genuinely care for their employees and try to improve business. Good overall reputation. Good products. Service department is wonderful.

    Cons

No info on strategic direction, no transparency by upper management. Was a great place to work until the CEO fired most of the upper & middle management. Entire organization is sales-driven--the tail is really wagging the dog. Not enough investment in R&D.

    Advice to Management

Tell employees what is going on. Is there a plan?

    Pros

Company aggressively pursues global presence and brand awareness in Enterprise wide quality control and inspection solutions

    Cons

Question of USA saturation, and limited new product introduction pace and differentiation

    Advice to Management

Drive to find adjacencies to diversify your portfolio and offset regional and global economic manufacturing uncertainity.

    Pros

Good pay and benefit structure but watch your back when times are slow

    Cons

No matter how talented or successful you may be your time is limited.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate and hang on to talented and successful individuals in good times and bad. Markets are cyclical when the down times are over your talent is gone.

    Pros

    *It is a modern environment
    *Friendly management
    *Interesting
    *Compensation and benefits are competitive
    *Global view

    Cons

There is a need to provide better opportunities for employee development.
There is a need to improve the quality of the product, quality comes before profit.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the teams around you and make sure that those who are promoted are the ones pulling their weight. Some of them have great smiles but don’t work as hard as they pretend.

    Pros

The hourly workers and temps were really nice and down to earth. Very smart and talented people who care about doing the right thing. Not much backstabbing or gossip out of that lot.

    Cons

It seemed to me that things were moving in a very regimented, corporate direction. Out was free thinking and creativity. In was new management from HQ and "this is how you should think, this is how you should feel".And LOT'S of doublespeak. I'm actually GLAD they asked me to leave because I may not have on my own. It seemed to me like a company (or at least a division) being run into the ground by management.

    Advice to Management

Be honest. Stop with the whole "I can't do anything to help you because THEY won't let me"
charade. It's obviously not a company that cares about it's employees so why portray it that way?
