I have been working at FGI Research
Pros – It's an easy job, the management seems to care about taking care of its employees.
Cons – It's hourly work and you don't get a lot of individual praise.
Advice to Senior Management – More praise would be great.

I worked at FGI Research
Pros – Laid-back dress code, generally young employees, interesting work, flexible work schedule, fun and friendly clients, the use of creativity to solve problems was encouraged.
Cons – Management has a very limited understanding of the scientific aspect of market research. There is no incentive to work hard, as promotions and raises are based on employees' likability and not performance. Performance reviews are few and far between and seem like an annoyance, rather than a necessity. The human resources manager is rarely available and most unhelpful; issues brought up to HR are simply swept under the rug, rather than professionally addressed. Zero opportunity for career growth and advancement. Extremely high turnover. Very little resources are available to adequately perform the necessary tasks. Company is extremely understaffed. Corners are cut way too often, and I truly question the integrity of the data collected.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your employees' needs and wants. Reward employees for accomplishments. Allow peer and management reviews. Pick a single business strategy and stick with it; changing direction on a weekly basis is confusing and frustrating to employees. Schedule time for continuing education so as to fully understand the science behind market research.
