    Pros

    - Fantastic exposure to indistry big-wigs
    - Excellent learning opportunities ... issues of national/international concern
    - Work-life balance
    - Almost 50% women employees; many senior portfolio held by women

    Cons

    - Work gets monotonous after a point
    - Repetitive nature of work esp at junior levels

    Lack of Vision and Professionalism, High level of Insecurity among the top management, Inefficient HR structure and lastly controlled and managed by few Individuals

    Pros

    It gives you a taste of of the internal workings of economy. Makes you well versed in the art of communication and writing. Soft Skills gain the best. Research enables learning experience. Help interface with Industry Players.

    Cons

    Low Manpower (with exception of the HO) is a serious problem and in more than a single way.

    The management structure makes functioning at state and regional level comparatively difficult. Thats about it.

    I worked at FICCI as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    I was exposed to a variety of IP research work ranging from conventional patents issues to the recent noisemakers such as PVFR act, TKDL,Online piracy issues.

    Cons

    Lack of resources both online and offline to carry out research work ,no pantry facilities and an inadequate chamber to accommodate the interns.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Install proper mechanism for the research associates and interns to effectively carry out the research work , like subscribing to any research databases,etc.

    Has a big Brand value exposure to he kind of information that one can't have access to anywhere else, nice infrastructure of company.

    Cons

    senior management doesn't give clear cut instructions and trainee has to perform well on the expectations of the senior management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    take summer internship process bit more seriously, give clear objectives to the trainees with proper guidelines with limitations during research process.
