I have been working at FINO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

if you get a corporate profile and that too you will be losing job in a month or so. Rest whole management is pathetic to work. - not a place to work

    Cons

Promotions and appraisals are worst in the entire industry only top management gets paid nicely. Being on field is the worst you can do in this firm. the company hires management trainees from elite colleges without any planning or a profile for them and then lays them off. whole management is a bunch of lazy people with no vision or mission outlook for the firm. at current pace survival is very difficult and actually the people working are being paid in peanuts and on top of it they expect them to work consistently

    Advice to Management

please get your hr policies straight and employee friendly as you will loose on the long term if the employees dissatisfaction level would lead to more lazy people.

I worked at FINO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Work Life Balance is good.

    Cons

    High attrition rate discourages you.

    Advice to Management

Need to reorganize the top management to have a future ( if any). Please take care of mid level managers as they bring more business.

  3. A different industry, but a restricted profile exposure due to too much of excess manpower.

I have been working at FINO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The type of business, that the company is into is very niche and challenging. Strategies of the company look strong on papers.

    Cons

Lack of implementation of vision and mission of the company. Long term survival of the company is under doubt. Bottom hierarchy of the company is brutally ignored.

    Advice to Management

Too many changes at a fast pace would lead to non acceptance from the existing employees.

I worked at FINO full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly atmosphere. Nice people to work with (can't say if it is true anymore). Good work life balance.

    Cons

The company lacks vision. HR department is more like a puppet in the hands of upper management. Totally directionless. The current management thinks it can survive with mediocre talent so it makes no attempt to retain the talented lot. Learning was quite good initially but can't say if it is going to be the same in future. The culture of the company has dwindled.

    Advice to Management

Respect talent. Make some strong policies. Show confidence in employees.

    Pros

Is there any? Reallymmm.. After thinking I could come up with this..This company, FINO Paytech is not worth working for specially people who think themselves as competent should not ever think of joining this organization.

    Cons

Recently lay off took place, large number of management trainees picked from good MBA institutes were asked to leave, and I am one of them. They make you to do below par jobs that you can not even write in your resume. A totally disgraceful organization with no value or culture.

    Advice to Management

You all are a bunch of idiots, you don't deserve good people in your organization.

I have been working at FINO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can get paid absurd salaries for doing nothing, particularly if you are one of the top management or one of the select few who brown nose their way into power

    Cons

If you are field staff your life and work is worth nothing, top management is clueless and has no strategy, non existent training, promotions are based on sycophancy, garbage products

    Advice to Management

Get your head out of your behinds and actually come up with a plan instead of looting the company's dwindling finances and laying off innocent people to cover for your foolish mistakes.

I worked at FINO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent peer group Good learning about the access to finance sector Decent salary structure

    Cons

Non-existent HR support and very incompetent HR personnel right from top HR management to executives Zero work life balance No consideration for field staff which is very surprising for an organisation that builds itself on providing rural solutions Technology not robust- almost 50% time goes into trouble shooting Middle management is absolutely useless Top level management concentrates only on fire fighting, not on preventing problems Promotions and increments depend on brown nosing ability Difficult to shift to other companies

    Advice to Management

Start recruiting more professional middle management Stick to creating a vision and be more strategic instead of micromanaging

Work-life balance is decent. Not too much workload. Apart from that, I cannot think of any other pros for this firm

Lack of standardized HR processes, low compensation, quality of work is sub-par. Manpower planning is not up to the mark. Lot of lay-offs are happening due to excess human resources hired without any proper planning.

    Advice to Management

Unfit middle management. Should be improved on. HR policies need standadization
